Time Warp: Fiction is better than truth (open)

Had she always liked writing? She couldn't remember. She did know she was really bad at it, at least plots and things. So she'd done the only thing that had made sense at the time. She'd started writing about her friends and other kids in her classes...and the teachers. She was ashamed that her brother had also shown up in a story but it was more about him shorting out the entire east coast power grid with one of his computers and then her saving the day....somehow. She hadn't worked out how yet.

Today she was more focused on the two boys sitting not too far away from her. They weren't interacting with each other, both totally absorbed in their own things. What if they weren't though? What if....um...there was a giant earthquake and the boy on the right saved the boy on the left? She'd call them erm...what were their names? She had no idea. She'd call them....Mark aaaand...Aiden, yeah. Those were good names. Her pen scratched across the paper as she furiously wrote out the scene in front of her.

She was so absorbed in what was quickly becoming a romance scene between her two unwitting characters when she realized someone was standing behind her before they cleared their throat to try and politely get her attention. "WAH!" She practically shrieked, huddling over her writing protectively. "What do you want?!" she squeaked, cheeks flushing red as she realized that they might have seen the very not G-rated things she had previously been scribbling.
