General Appearance: Leo is a scrawny boy and always has been. It’s not because he doesn’t eat enough or isn’t healthy in any way. That’s just the way he is naturally built and Leo gets pissed when family members tell him to “eat something” or “get some meat on those bones”. His height as of now is 5’ 9” and he weighs about 135 lbs. Leo has a pale complexion and usually burns. Since he’s too lazy to apply sunscreen, the boy suffers from sunburn from time to time during the summer months. Leo’s eyes are of a very sought after color: turquoise. His big, beautiful eyes are envied by many and sometimes the attention can make him uncomfortable. Other than that, he is confident about his physical appearance and is rarely self conscious about it.
Leo likes to keep his fluffy and bouncy hair on the shorter side so it stays fairly neat. Regardless, by the end of the day, his hair always ends up all askew. This is due to the student constantly nervously running his hand through his hair and gripping on to it when he gets stressed. On occasion, Leo will wear a beanie or snapback to stop himself from touching it. The rest of his outfit will usually consist of a shirt that is a solid color or has a simple motif. And, depending on the weather, he’ll wear shorts or skinny jeans. But everyday, unless it isn’t appropriate footwear for the weather or occasion, Leo will always be sporting his pair of plain black Vans.
Personality: Leo strongly identifies with four main “labels”: atheist, feminist, LGBT+ Supporter, and Pansexual. He is very proud of all these and is very comfortable with voicing his opinion and enjoys surrounding himself with people that have similar ones. But since he stands so firmly by his beliefs, if anyone disagrees with him about these topics, he will instantly hate them and push them out of his life. He does this with anyone that makes him unhappy or brings negativity. Leo tries to keep his life and attitude positive.
Leo is a bit of a drama queen. He loves gossip and will even start harmless rumors from time to time. He feels that school gets too boring without a little. Sometimes the gossip gets a little out of hand and has a larger impact than intended. Leo’s definitely lost some friends because of this. But, the boy makes new friends fairly easily so unless they were super close, he quickly gets over it. Though he makes friends easily, it’s harder for him to make close friends. Leo has a quirky sense of humor and enjoys childish things like building forts and playing board games. It’s hard for him to find someone who shares a majority of his interests and he feels 100% comfortable with.Your VicesLikes: A hot cup of tea, drawing, writing short stories, collecting vinyls, One Direction, parties, cocktails, winning, board games, blanket forts, power outages, baking, drama, socks, cuddling, learning, teaching himself languages, giving and receiving nicknames, reading

Any Other Important People:NoneHistoryLeo was the first born of Jonathan and Cecelia Frater. Jonathan came from a very wealthy family and both of his parents worked full time. He was basically raised by the au pair. Jon knew from a very young age that when he was a father, he would spend as much time as possible. The family gets questions fairly often about why he isn’t working. Leo never cared. He loved both of his parents and didn’t care which one of them was the homemaker.
Leo has loved school for as long as he could remember. He was fascinated by everything and was very curious. Leo’s favorite thing to do was to teach himself new languages. In school he took Spanish but he wanted to learn more. Though he hasn’t become fluent in any language, he knows a fair amount of German, French, and Latin. The boy would occasionally be teased for how much he read and studied but he didn’t care. He knew it was just making him more intelligent than them. And he was. Leo was always one of the top students in his class. Not many of the other kids appreciated that though. Leo could make friends but he didn’t really like any of them that well. They were nice and funny but all they wanted to do was play video games. He wanted to go on adventures or tell stories or bake cookies. The boy didn’t want to be rude though so he just played along with what everyone else wanted.
The day when he discovered his powers wasn’t a huge surprise. Both of his parents were Metas so he had been awaiting this day ever since he found what what they were when he was 11. Leo had just turned 14 the day it all happened. He and his parents were sitting in the kitchen when a scream came from his little sister’s room. His mother jumped up and started towards the stairs so she could help her daughter. “She screamed because she just tore her favorite shirt” Leo said calmly. His parents, obviously confused, asked how he knew that. Realizing what just happened, Leo became instantly confused himself. Mr. and Mrs. Frater exchanged looks and began to grin widely. “I think someone is an empath.” his father said. “Looks like someone is going to Hammel. You better pack your bags.” Leo was glad he listened to his dad because the very next morning, a recruiter showed up on his doorstep and escorted the newest student of Hammel to the car that was waiting for them.
Leo’s first year was uneventful. It seemed exactly like middle school except he lived in a dorm and had to train his power. The one thing he hated about his power was that every time he wanted to practice, he needed another person to help him. He felt he was being a pain since he had to drag along one of his few friends every time. But Leo is hopeful that his second year at Hammel will be more exciting and he’ll hopefully make better friends.Roleplay ExampleSee Riku Bennett or Asher HayesWhat About You?Name: Sarah
