This is my lil' writing thread. I generally do poems or little essay type things. Feed back is always welcome, I love to hear to what people think of my work.

Fine
The best lie there is,
No need to expand,
No meaningless talk is needed,
Just the word
Fine

How was your day?
Fine
How are you?
Fine
How did you do?
Fine
Just Fine
Perfectly Fine

So I lied,
What’s your point?
I don't care
You don't care
So why does it matter?

You say you want the truth?
The truth after all, hurts
But you say you want it anyway
Fine
I'll tell you the truth.

The truth is I hurt
My mind is a jumbled mess
My dreams are stupid if not scary
I cry most nights,
Most days
Most of the time.

But you don't care,
It doesn't matter to you
You think it’s not real
You think my pain is imagined
So I'll tell you,
Just to make you happy,
That I'm Fine
My day was fine
Work was fine
I'm fine.

My Everything

I was alone, Cold and Scared,
Fighting to survive the next day,
sinking constantly into despair and darkness,
Only to have you pull my away.

Away from the pain,
The Hurt and the tears,
Away from the nights
filled only with fears,
Away from the hunger,
for someone to hold,
Away from the Darkness
Away from the cold.

For that, I love you,
You have no idea
With you as my eyes
My future is clear,
You're my world,
My sweetness and light.
For once in my life,
Everything feels right.

Promise me you won't leave,
Promise me you'll stay
Promise me I'm Yours,
and you'll never go away,
And I'll be yours forever,
Never to leave your side,
Because Baby i promise,
From you there's nothing to Hide.

So worry not my Darling,
We need each other its true,
Together will be Happy,
'cause Baby I Love You.

Safe

There’s a battle that goes on,
It fights up in my head,
I don’t really understand it;
I just provide the space.
They fight to take over,
To rule over my thinking,
My control over my actions,
Are never truly my own.
Devil and the Angel I call them,
The good and the bad;
The Angel is the ‘normal me’
The devil one is mean.
He doesn’t win very often,
And he’s vicious when he does,
Making me do and say things,
Making me become cruel.
I never remember what happened,
When the angel is back in place,
I just have to listen in horror,
To the accusations, the pain.
He comes and does his dirty deeds,
Leaving me to clean up the mess,
He never listens to me when I tell him,
He’s wrong, he shouldn’t have done that.
My parent’s think I’m a ‘problem’ child,
And never believe me when I say,
‘I’m sorry I didn’t mean it, the devil…
The devil made me do it.’
They call me a liar and a cheat,
Saying to take responsibility,
They never take me seriously,
It wasn’t my fault, I’m sorry;
The devil, he always laughs,
Laughs at me when I cry.
He mocks me, calls me a baby
Laughs when I try to hide.
He’s mean and he won’t leave me alone.
He bugs and nags and hassles.
He makes me look like a bad guy.
Like a bully, like a killer.
And now I’m sat in a cell,
Cold and very alone.
No-one understands what happened,
But I remember clear as day.
It started out nice and normal,
The angel well in place.
And the devil took over,
And it was hell on earth again.
What he did was beyond mean,
Beyond anything I could comprehend.
His actions shocked and sickened me,
Even though I knew those hands were mine.
He begged and he pleaded,
But laughter was his response.
He really didn’t deserve what the devil did,
But he got it anyway.
It was chaos, it was hell,
And I was left to pay the price.
The courts they ignored my insistence,
And sentence me to life in a cell.
The cell isn’t too bad really,
The wall are padded and soft,
It’s the coat that gets me,
It restricts and it traps.
There are guards by my door,
Solid and silent they stand,
Ignoring the cries of my insanity,
Deaf to my sobbed plea’s
Insane is what they call it,
When you hear voices in your head,
And insane is how they treat you,
Locked away, hidden and ‘safe’.

Who We Are

We can only be who we are,
Deceive and pretend all you like,
But when daytime turns to night-time
The Masks and costumes fade away.

In the end, we all know its true,
We can only be who we are,
We can lie to everyone else,
But to ourselves we must be true.

So throw out the mask and costume,
And accept yourself as you are,
We can only be who we are,
So stop trying to fool the world.

Shake away the layers of lies,
Stand up, and be true to yourself,
Just break from the mould and accept,
We can only be who we are.

Justified

Rain pouring,
Fist thumping,
Wood breaking,
Plates smashing,
Drawers opening,
Steel sliding
Whispers of protests,
Questions and forgiveness,
Screams of pain,
Horror, and torture
The dulled thumps
Of a dying heart
Blood dripping,
Sudden silence,
The sound of his murder

Rain pouring,
Sirens screaming,
Tires screeching,
Children crying,
Metal crunching,
Bone cracking.
Cry’s of agony,
Pain and shock,
Prayers for forgiveness,
Redemption, and regret,
The muttered words of
I’m sorry, its too late,
Muffled sounds,
Muted silence.
The sound of your death.

You killed him,
And it returned to you,
You lost your temper,
You took it too far,
You murdered him as he begged
Pleaded for his life.
He cheated,
He didn’t murder,
His death was unwarranted,
Your death was justified.

My Biggest Mistake

You Know I loved you,
You loved me too,
The feeling was incredible
The Feeling was new.

I hated to be away from you,
To be apart for any time
I wanted everybody to know
That you were all mine

But you had to go home
And when you did it broke my heart
I was selfish and I was cruel,
I had to keep us apart

Because I knew how much I loved you,
How much it hurt when you were away
I thought I could do it,
That any price I would pay.

But this was too much,
Each time weakened me
I did what I had to do
I set myself free

I'm sorry I was selfish,
I’m sorry gave in
To describe my regret…
I couldn’t begin.

I’m so terribly sorry,
For the past I can’t unmake
But I promise you baby
It was my biggest Mistake.

Messed up my mind
Watered my eyes
Destroyed my trust
Filled my life with lies

But I always said

I still haven’t forgot

I’m sorry if I hurt you
But I don’t want to know

To me you’re dead
To me you’re in the past
You’re just a memory
One I hope to forget fast

But before you go
