Lucas, after a good while of doing anything to train his ability or his body, decided to combine his greatest passion with training. He'd set up a dummy in the same room, or same area, he met Axelle in, and take some kind of speaker with him he could blast music out of. The only question that remained, could that be done? Were those rooms soundproof? And even if they were, he knew he wasn't the only one there, so could it happen that someone mentally messed with him through the walls or something?
The boy shrugged and grabbed his phone and a small sound system for it (working paid off, he could afford things now) and took his dummy to one of the rooms to train in. He got a distant nod from one of the people already in there and set up his dummy in the middle of a ring so he could bounce around and play a little, mix things up if he needed to.
He took his phone and put it down just outside the ring but placed it so he could hear clearly as he navigated to the songs on his phone. He flipped through multiple albums before finally deciding on a good song to start with.
He set it up, pushed start and slowly walked over to the training dummy as the song went through the intro. He sized up the dummy and placed his fist against it. ''Alright, let's see if this works.'' He sighed inwardly as he quickly stretched his arms behind his back. He decided to lose his shirt real quick, it didn't need to weigh him down. That and he needed to have more freedom of movement as what he was going to do, while not involving real required foot movement, was going to send him around the dummy involuntarily.
As the first notes of the song involving drums began he threw a single punch with an open palm, grasping one of the three beams with force in tandem with the beat of the drums. After only a few seconds he began breathing a bit heavier; this was both the result of not training nearly enough and the training being harder than it looked.
Luke was glad this was a relatively slow song, but he knew that when he was done with this one he would kick it up a notch. Though maybe he'd find something slower first..
Or heck, maybe he'd find someone to train with! Who could say for sure?
He hit the dummy some more as the song hit the chorus. The first verse was easy, but as with most songs In Flames their verses were a bit more upbeat. He found himself moving his mouth with the words as his fists moved around the arms of the dummy at an increased rate. He suffered fully through the first chorus and quickly sat down in the corner of the ring after that.
He didn't turn off the music and instead leaned back against the corner pole of the ring. ''Holy shit.'' He whispered with a sigh.
