Luke grinned as he turned down his way too loud music. He had suddenly remembered they had been trying to establish a friendship earlier and how he fucked it up by being the lousy douche he tended to be in the past.

''George!''

He yelled again as he didn't move from his own room. He'd changed, but that didn't mean he still couldn't annoy people from time to time. The best thing was to annoy people he knew couldn't hurt him. Could she? Probably with a knife or something she could, but hey, you had to live it up every now and again, right?

''Gee-orge-eena!''

He finally moved out of his own room and saw the girl peeking out of her own room in mild disgust. Luke nodded to acknowledge her and deemed it the right reaction to him; disgust. He'd have found himslelf disgusting if he shouted his own name, too. That and slightly self centered.

He remembered George playing the guitar, and while he didn't know the extent of her skills he still wondered.. ''George-ey!'' He yelled out as he flung his arms up in the air while only caring a little bit. ''I have music. You have a guitar. Wanna practice? We can take turns?'' He needed to see if she knew how to play what he wanted out of laziness.

He could just pull up a video of someone playing the song on guitar and know how to do it, but he wanted to see if his roommate could.

George didn't need this. She was actually enjoying her afternoon, she didn't need that douchenugget interrupting with his stupid shouting and annoying existence. She wasn't exactly certain why she had such a chip on her shoulder about the guy, but he just always managed to get one her last nerve, even if it was from just a glance.

Ugh.

And now her Vocaloid jam session was being utterly decimated with the unwanted acoustics of his voice. She had her headphones on, loud, to block out his obnoxious music, but somehow, he managed to be just loud enough to weave his voice behind them. Utter dickhead.

It was the use of her full name that did it. She growled and wrenched off her headphones, before hooking her head around the door-frame to see what the fucking fuss was about. She finally spoke when he became a human octopus and repeated her name.

"What the vagina do you want?" She asked, obviously using the classiest of language. His request... she straightened up, coming out of her room a bit more to lean against the wall, arms crossed, "I mean this in the nicest of ways, but why would I want to practice with you?" She said, "If you want to show off or something, you have already done that. Learn a new trick, bub."

She wasn't jealous of his power. Not at all. It was just better than hers. Seeing that as her rejection of the offer, she waved her hand in a dismissive way, "I can practice by myself." The fact that he had music was interesting, but she had her own music too.

Luke smirked. ''Vagina.. hehe..''

She listened to his request, and even though the boy had himself realized he hadn't been the calmest person ever about it she listened without really shooting off any retorts. Luke moved over and plopped down on the couch in the middle of the room as he tried to think of a convincing reason for her to practice with him other than being flat out too lazy to open up internet. Although talking to George had been way more intensive than finding a video, and just started a few seconds ago!

''The why..'' He began as he hummed away, trying to cover up his lack of planning. ''Because I can play everything you can and you can see how you play..?'' He lowered his head slightly as he looked at his roommate. ''Also, I am definitely maybe not going to show off.''

If he was going to do that, he'd need to stay away from the handstands as that didn't work out particularly well in the past.

''Course you can practice by yourself. But as with.. certain things it is just more fun when there are two people involved.'' He shot a wink at the girl.

George was not a dancing monkey. She was not about to waste her energy entertaining someone she didn't care about.

She stopped herself as he spoke again, leaning against the same spot again. She furrowed her eyebrows and tilted her head, grimacing slightly, "The general consensus of that very statement was that you were going to show off." She pointed out, not exactly amused. The idea of being able to see how she played was... attractive. Unlike her opinion of the boy in front of her, but that could maybe change.

She doubted it.

The British girl blinked and then pulled the rim of her bus boy hat down to cover her eyes, "Dirty dirty dirty dirt, boy." She chanted/complained. She was all for cheeky humour of that variety, but... bleg. Coming from him, it felt creepy. "Mirrors exist," She pointed out, "Unless you can think of some life changing reason why your company is so amazing, I'll be going back to my Tumblr scrolling now."

Luke sighed. This was not going to be an easy endeavor. And he knew it'd be hard even before he attempted it, but it seemed the girl was way more displeased with him than she had let him know in the past.

He was having a tiring time to interpret anything she said as even a backdoor compliment. Maybe this was a part of the change he was going through. ''Mirrors do exist.'' This was an undeniable fact of life. And while they did kind of help in what he proposed; which was George being able to see how she played, it did mean she had to focus on two seperate objects at once. Luke could take one of those away by simply copying George after the fact so she'd only have to focus on one thing.

But Luke lacked the intelligence to mention that.

''Not much can one up Tumblr,'' He started, but he was sure as hell going to try. ''but, uhh... what if I sweeten the deal? Like, you get to ask me a question I have to answer truthfully after every song?''

He hoped that doing that would win her over somehow.
