Luke had to briefly put his arms over his eyes as he stepped through the door seperating inside from outside due to the sun's presence. Slowly his eyes adjusted though he still wished he had brought sunglasses, and withdrew his arms as he threw them to opposite sides as if greeting the vast expanse before him.
His mind had been drowning him with questions that, he hoped, everyone had. They were the ''can't solve but you enjoy thinking about'' type of questions. Like; why was the sky blue? What do they tell a mime when he's arrested? And the always good at parties: why is it frowned upon to take candy from strangers, but halloween?
He walked over to the nice shade cast by a tree and sat down below it, crossing his legs and propping himself up against the tree. He had of course thought of asking if Karalie wanted to do something, but Luke figured she wanted a break every now and again. And Luke also figured that not all invitations should come from him, he wanted to see if she was capable of contacting him first.
Though that would just turn out to be a waste since the boy knew beyond a doubt that he would be the one to want to see her. He just needed to find something to prolong the inevitable with. Or someone.
He took out his phone of which he had only recently changed the background of, it was no longer Marnies face, it was now Karalie. He quickly navigated away from her face as it just reminded him of her, he didn't need that. He decided to try his luck on a game. A quiz one at that.
He opened the app and tried to decide a fitting category to try his luck on.
