The BasicsName: Mitzi Nadine Senta
Nicknames: Mits, Mittens, Minnie
Age: 26 Born: October 12th, 1988
Orientation: Hetero, but, there really isn't anything wrong with getting wild every now and again
Desired Rank/Job: Foreign Language teacher at Hammel
Powers: Omnilingualism- Mitzi must be exposed to the language before she can understand it. Usually it will only take any ordinary sentence, and it's easier to grasp the language when she hears it (or sees it, for any kind of sign language), as opposed to reading it.
She can currently speak easily over a dozen languages, including English, French, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, Russian, Japanese, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, and she considers German to be her Mother tongue, even if she is currently using English more than German.
Besides the restriction of having to be exposed to a language before she speaks it, Mitzi only suffers from the most typical side effects, such as switching between languages without realizing, temporarily forgetting which language is appropriate to use with which person (like not being able to summon English when she speaks to English speaking people, German with German people, etc.), and an almost constant, unpleasant twitch in her throat. Also, even if she can fluently speak the language, she typically does so with a German accent.
Play By: Sandra BullockThe DetailsHair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Green
Any Piercings? A belly button ring, and an eyebrow piercing, but she hasn't worn anything in it for maybe two years
Any Tattoos? Fox on left shoulder blade, pink rose on her right hip
Any Scars? Scar on the left side of her head. Luckily its on the back so her hair can be arranged to cover it, but can show when her hair falls out of its arrangement.
General Appearance: Mitzi has always had dark brown hair, and has never dyed it. Though always varying in length as a younger person, Mitzi now keeps it at least in the range of her shoulders, as she no longer has the patience to wait for it grow. As to what she does with it, it depends how patient she feels. She can manipulate it as much as the next person, but to be honest it usually just ends up in a ponytail or something.
One thing Mitzi is good at is packing food away, and while she has been blessed with a rapid metabolism, she's paranoid that sooner or later she'll get fat. Currently, she is definitely in shape, more so than others might guess.
Her skin takes a tan well, but leaves freckles across her nose and shoulders that seem impossible to get rid of.
When at work, Mitzi dresses in a modest, professional way, taking her role in the classroom very seriously. However, that doesn't mean her clothes are boring. Flashy colors, patterns, and current trends can make their way into her work attire, giving her what she hopes to be an edge.
When out of school, she lives in jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes, looking like she could very well be a student at Hammel. She also holds her own collection of yoga pants that some of her students would be jealous of.
Personality: Mitzi is an intent observer, ironically listening more than talking. She's intelligent, and never reveals more than she has to at any given time. She believes in tolerance, giving everyone a chance, and treating others the way she would want to be treated.
Now with that being said, she isn't shy, and can hold a witty, humorous conversation at a drop of a dime. She likes having fun, and surrounds herself with the people who could be considered rays of sunshine. Or, does she orbit around those people because they do all the talking?
However, when Mitzi's hand is forced, she can be a force to be reckoned with. Sarcastic, biting, and mean behavior isn't above her, and if you start it, she will finish it. She may not always win the battles, but she will plot and scheme until she has won the war. When the person comes to their senses and calls a truce (or is forced to for that matter), she could be forgiving, but she certainly won't forget.Your VicesLikes: People that put their best foot forward

Her cat SylvesterHistoryMitzi was the baby of a retired German military family, born in Hamburg, Germany.
She lived a typical existence. Her brother and sister were five and three when she was born, so they lived their lives either pushing her away or letting her in and teaching her the hardest lessons of life.
Those lessons often involved her father, who she loved with all her heart, but whom she never felt that she could grow close to, because he was so closed off to everyone. He strictly believed that children should be seen and not heard, always obeying their parents, but that was hard for Mitzi to get a grasp of until she was about eight-years-old.
She had been at the dinner table with her parents, brother and sister. Mitzi had started leaning on her chair, the two front legs in the air and the back two on the carpet. When her father told her to sit in her chair the right way, Mitzi replied with a smart comment, and Randolph Senta instinctively slapped his daughter across the face, which in itself didn't hurt too bad, but it finally caused enough force for Mitzi to fall back and fall through her mother's china cabinet which was directly behind her.
One hospital visit later, Mitzi got away with only one large cut on the back of her head, which was closed up with a staple and 18 stitches.
From then on, Mitzi and Rudolph always seemed to walk on eggshells around each other, both seeming to try to adapt to the way the other behaved. Mitzi became the quiet, more thoughtful person she is today, and Rudolph tried to listen and not have such a brutal hand towards any of his children. Also during this time, there seemed to have been an odd favoritism toward Mitzi developed.
In the summer before Mitzi turned fourteen, her mother's family from Italy decided to visit.
The menagery consisted of aunts, uncles, cousins, Teresa's parents, and Teresa's only living grandparent, Nana Rosa.
Between dinner and dessert, her father had left for his study and her mother left to attend to things in the kitchen, leaving the children to entertain... Which was pretty awkward since their mother was the only one in the family who spoke Italian.
Either way, the children tried their best as their relatives tried to coddle them, but then suddenly, Mitzi understood what they were saying. That her sister Pauline should burn the dress she was wearing and that it would be a shame if Rudolfo turned out anything like his grump of a father.
Blown away by the rudeness of her relatives that she really wouldn't be able to recognize if they were walking next to her on the street, she blew a bit of a gasket, saying that if they really thought all these terrible things about her family, that they could all leave.
Never mind that she gave this speech in perfect Italian, a language she might know a few passing words of, she still got in trouble, and by lunch time the next day, a representative from Kocher was at the Senta's door.
Mitzi went to and finished her schooling there, only because her parents wouldn't let her transfer to any other place. She went home to Hamburg for breaks, and when she finally graduated, Mitzi ran like a bat out of hell with the money she was able to squeeze out of her parents.
She traveled the world for about a year, having already mastered the one major culture gap, that being language.
After a while, her father had lectured her enough and her mother had begged her enough to settle down to one place, so she landed in Vermont, finally enrolling herself in some classes, and graduating with a degree in Foreign Language Education.
Upon that graduation, she was hired by Hammel, and is now trying to humor her mother, and stay in one place for an extended amount of time.Roleplay ExampleMonica turned into the alley and lifted the tarp that covered the opening of her hovel, revealing blankets, a rolled sleeping bag and the crates on either end that kept the tarp aloft.
She sat down and stretched.
There were almost no people left in the street now, and the last traces of orange in the sky vanished.
Monica spread the sleeping bag and blankets, shifting them to her liking, and then slipped her shoes, socks and over shirt off, leaving her in a tank top and cargo pants. She laid herself down and felt around for the teddy bear she had found the first day she had arrived in Haven.
The stuffed bear Monica affectionately called Lucky was missing his left eye along with his right leg.
Monica had chosen this place to stay particularly for the street lamp that stood sentry at the entrance of the alley. It shed light, but also casted strange shadows of the crates that littered the alley. If a small animal happened to scamper by, a monstrous shadow ran across the wall.
It couldn't have been any later than nine o'clock and panic was already setting in.
She shut her eyes and held onto Lucky tighter, holding back the gasps that were threatening to emerge from her chest. The mold and mildewed scent of the bear made her turn her head away, but her thoughts were what was lurking around in the dark.
"I don't want to cry tonight,' she kept thinking. 'Momma and Daddy wanted me to be brave, to not be afraid.'
She was panting now, from the anxiety and the pressure that was building in her chest and head from keeping the sorrow back.
'Momma and Daddy. I want my mommy and daddy.
That last thought made her choke and grind her teeth. She squeezed her eyes and tears fell from the corners of her eyes and into her ear, as she was laying on her side.
'I won't cry. I won't cry. I won't cry.'
Suddenly, a crate moved in the alley, making a horrible scarping sound. She opened her eyes and shadows moved against the wall. Monica rolled over, shoved her face against her pillow, clutched her bear, and let out a muffled blood curdling scream. What About You?Name: Siria
