The past few months had been fairly uneventful for Rune. Other than starting his new life at Hammel or course. The young man was doing his best to make good grades and to keep himself out of trouble, so naturally any of his free time was spent practicing his dancing. This usually meant losing his way to the auditorium, well at least the first few times. By now though, he had a system worked out. Every Monday and Friday afternoon he would slink off to the auditorium with a boom box in hand and a various selection of music in a duffle bag.
Rune didn't really like to stick to any particular dance style though, and the music he brought with him portrayed that very well. At least he liked to think so. Today was gonna be to be a mix day, this meant mixing the different styles of dance with one song. Climbing up on the stage, Rune heard a ripping sound and glanced down at his jeans. Sure enough, the knee busted out, but he wasn't upset. In fact, he'd been waiting for it to happen for it to happen for weeks now.
It put a little smile on his face as he started to do his pre-dance stretches. Nothing to strenuous, just basic ones to warm up. Then he slowly stood up and walked to his old dirty, and sticker covered boom box and hit play. Since it was October, he had decided on a theme song from a horror movie. A classic in fact. "Tubular Bells" from The Exorcist , it was a remix of course, but it started off slow and moved it's way to a more dubstep like beat. Perfect for a mix of classic free style dancing and a more street styled hip hop.
Rune began his dancing, getting totally lost in the rhythm, his mind totally focused on the music and the beat.
