General Appearance: Michelle stands at a respectable 5'6 and is of average weight. She lacks any real definition to her body and curves, which has been a source of insecurity for the girl. Her waist length brown hair can look light or dark, depending on the day, and often will be down in its messy, naturally wavy state. On occasion, she will tie it back in a hastily thrown together ponytail. Her grey blue eyes are framed with thick eyebrows and dark eyelashes. Michelle isn't one to fuss over her appearance, and so she seldom makes the effort to put on makeup or tame the frizz in her hair. If the occasion calls for it, then she will. She naturally has a pale complexion and even in the hottest days of summer, will not tan. Instead, a light dusting of freckles appear on the bridge of her nose and fade out towards her cheeks. Her smile is wide and warm, but a rare sight to see as a stranger.
For clothes, Michelle tends to stick to modern basics on a daily basis. She'll wear a v-neck or a tank top paired with a plaid or denim shirt overtop and then with jeans or leggings. She favours slid on shoes like Toms, or boots in the colder months. Although she prefers not to, Michelle can and will wear a nice dress with tights for the right situation.
Personality: Michelle is a kindhearted sweetheart who would do anything for her family and friends. She's selfless, to the point where people will often abuse her generosity. She's gotten a bit better at putting her foot down and sticking up for herself, but still will let friends and strangers alike walk over her without really noticing or saying anything about it. Her passiveness is one of her biggest personality trait, and perhaps her biggest downfall.
Naturally, Michelle is a soft spoken girl. She doesn't draw attention from the crowd, and prefers it to be that way. It's not that she is shy; she's just incredibly insecure and afraid of making a fool of herself in front of people. Often, Michelle won't share her opinions or talk to anyone, and if she does, she's cautious about it. This leads to the impression that she is anti-social. As you get closer to her, she will smile and begin to talk more. It just takes some time and effort on both sides thanks to her low self esteem. Due to this, Michelle has a smaller, intimate group of friends.
Once you get past her gentle and reserved exterior, the more Michelle reveals herself and begins to open up. She's a girl who loves handmaking hobbies, like knitting scarves and hats or making bracelets for her friends. Although she tries hard not to be, Michelle can be incredibly emotional and wears her heart on her sleeve. She gets invested easily, but that said, she genuinely cares for those around her and won't hesitate to listen to someone rant about a bad day or quietly comfort them.

Weaknesses: She can't stand up for herself and allows people to walk all over her/use her. Michelle is incredibly passive and has a low self esteem. Due to her ability, she also suffers from migraines on almost a daily basis. She also has the tendency to be overemotional.

History
Michelle is the eldest child of three to an eccentric couple, Johnathan and Victoria Reed. The family grew up in a suburb in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, living a modest lifestyle. Ever since a young age, Michelle has been timid and quiet, not one to break out of her shell. During elementary school, teachers constantly voiced their concern how the Reed's daughter wasn't interacting with other students enough and was behind on her social development. It took time, but eventually, she was able to connect with a couple of other quiet students and form a mutual bond. She's an average to above average student, performing well on a academic and creative level. Michelle always found herself fascinated by arts and crafts, and since her childhood, has enjoyed knitting and making bracelets for other people. It keeps her occupied without forcing her to go outside of her comfort zone.
As she entered middle school, Michelle's sense of self worth plummeted. While other girls hit puberty, she watched everyone else develop as she was a 'late-bloomer.' Even then, not a lot changed. She hates her appearance, and went through a phase of wearing bagging sweaters to hide her frame. Although her self esteem continues to be an issue today like most teenagers, it's a fact she's slowly coming to terms with. The biggest change occurred just after Michelle's 14th birthday. She was with one of her friends, outside on a cool afternoon. The two girls were sitting around talking, when Michelle had looked at the other girl, who instantly hunched over and began to scream. After initiating eye contact with her friend, the beginning of Michelle's powers had begun to form. Her friend complained of an intense, throbbing headache, and so Michelle helped her friend home. There was a recruiter in the area, and later that evening, arrived to the Reed's residence. The recruiter calmly explained that it appeared to be the start of a meta-power of some sort, which was later discovered to be psionic blasts.
Since then, Michelle has trained relentlessly to get her power under control. She's been at Hammel for two years now, and not much has changed. Although she has a fair amount of control over the blasts, she's still subject to the harsh side effects and so will often be seen napping or tiredly walking around. Michelle still prefers to stick to the fringes of the crowd, trying her best to continue a semi-normal life away from her family.
