It was about that time, wasn't it? Time for her to give in, to accept something she had been kind of running away from for the last two years? It was time for her to stop trying to just learn how to suppress her power and learn how to use it. Maybe that would help her keep from having so many accidents. Maybe it would keep her from hurting anyone ever again. It hadn't been so bad when she had been the only one that had been getting burned but when Matt had gotten caught up in it... It had become unacceptable.
"Mrs Wyatt?"
It was more of to get her attention than to see if the woman was there. Anthy knew she was there. Well, she was sitting right there at the desk so how could she miss her?
The girl tugged at her sleeves a little to cover the bandages that were peeking out. Quite uncharacteristically, she was wearing long sleeves and long pants today. It was so strange, and a little uncomfortable, but it was better than flashing bandages everywhere. The fact that she looked like she had a bit of a sunburn in the places where she hadn't burned as badly was already enough to make her a bit self conscious.
"I think I might be ready. Ready to start learning how to use this, I mean." She said softly, smiling a little.
Why was it she spoke so fluently to the woman when she was so stammery and shy with most other people? Well, the two of them had history together, them both being bio-luminescent and all. They were both shy in the beginning, but the woman had been here a year. A year had been more than long enough for them to get to know each other. It was to where they were even on a first name basis. Anthy had just slipped back to calling her by Mrs Wyatt due to the feeling of the moment.
