Funny to be back here. Jen looked around the gym as she entered, smiling as her eyes fell on the oddest machine in the room. She still didn't know how that thing worked. Well, last time she was here she managed to meet someone and get laid, have a good, mindless, empty afternoon of sex and candy and as empty as that left her feeling, she still wanted a repeat with a new person. No complications.
The elastic girl moved to the treadmill, focusing on the one thing she knew how to do: jog. She pulled her hair and combed it as well as she could into a messy ponytail, stretched her knees by the machine, and then hopped on. She stared down at the buttons and smiled at the silliness of the machine. She could be doing this in any other place and not pay entrance to use. Besides, it was always more entertaining to watch the environment change with every step rather than stare at the same spot while you ran for half an hour. But that was the fun part! Doing something that made no sense whatsoever just for the hell of doing something that made no sense. Knowing that just helped the humour of the idiocy, and Jen was a sucker for humour.
The girl pressed a couple of buttons and the machine started to move and, on it, Jen's legs. She smiled to herself, starting slow, but then the machine picked up and her eyes widened. Maybe it'd been a bad idea to work out at the max level from the start.
"Woah-easy." She felt her knee bent, thanks to her powers, barely keeping up with the rhythm of the machine. For a moment there, she thought it would go well, that her balance was back in place, except there were those silly powers that seemed to have more downsides than upsides. She was pretty sure the x-men didn't have to deal with such crap. Her knee bent again and, this time, she didn't manage to hold herself up, moving backwards on the treadmill's band and shooting out of the machine and onto the random passing person.
She was pretty sure the Justice League never had to deal with this crap.
