General Appearance: Trix is 1,61m tall (5’3’’) and has a lean, fit body. Some would describe her body as “pear-shaped”. Her hair is dark brown and long, reaching mid-back when straightened. She doesn’t like to straighten or curl her hair though and prefers to keep the natural wavy look. Her eyes sometimes appear blue and sometimes green, depending on the lighting. In her own opinion, her eyes are her best features.
Trix doesn’t really wear a lot of makeup, except on her eyes and sometimes a bit of lipstick. She is usually seen wearing tight fitting jeans and a fashionable top with boots or sneakers. She likes to wear black or grey a lot with the occasional splash of colour. She will never ever be seen wearing yellow or orange. She always makes sure to appear fresh and clean with her hair, skin and nails well kept.
Personality: Trix a pretty friendly person, except when she loses her temper. She makes friends easily and has a dry sense of humour. She loves to use sarcasm. She usually talks before she thinks and that has often landed her in trouble. She tends to ramble when she is nervous, which isn’t often, mind you. She is very feministic and has an attitude of “anything men can do, women can do better while wearing heals”. She is very loyal to her friends and will always stick up for them.
That being said, the easiest way to get on her nerves is to insult her friends or family. She is short tempered and outspoken. She won’t hesitate to tell someone if they are annoying her and put them in their place. She is usually very flirtatious towards girls, even if they are straight since she enjoys teasing them. She talks with a mild French accent, which gets stronger when she is upset or very sleepy.

History
Up until her powers manifested, Trix’s life was pretty uneventful. She was born in Bordeaux, France to a very close and loving family. Her father was an architect and her mother a high school principal. They were both very loving parents and Trix never had any shortcomings as a child.
In school she was academically strong and got along with all of her classmates. The teachers were always satisfied, if not impressed with her work and she rarely got into trouble. Trix had always enjoyed music and dancing and her parents let her take piano and ballet lessons from a young age. Later she even took drumming lessons and joined the school band.
Since her mother, Gabrielle was American she grew up learning both French and English, although she preferred French. As Trix grew into her tweens, she found herself getting into trouble more often for losing her temper and speaking her mind. Although most adults were only amused by the outspoken little girl, some viewed it as disrespect. At the age of twelve, where other girls around her age started developing crushes on boys, Trix found herself more attracted to the fairer sex. At the time it wasn’t a big deal for her and so she ignored it.
Trix was thirteen when her powers first manifested. She was in the kitchen with her mother, helping to prepare dinner when she accidentally set the stove aflame. Her father quickly appeared with a fire extinguisher and nothing but the stove was damaged. She tried to explain to her parents what had happened, but they both just viewed it as an accident caused by bad luck.
One of the teachers at Trix’s school was a meta with the ability to distinguish other metas. As soon as she realized that Trix was a meta, she reported her and the following day a recruiter showed up at Trix’s home. He explained to Trix and her parents what was happening. Her parents were shocked at first, but took it better than most parents would. And so Trix said goodbye to her family and her beloved dog and went with the recruiter to Switzerland to attend Kocher.
Trix hated being so far away from her parents even though they exchanged emails and phone calls quite often. She missed them terribly and this unhappiness caused her bad temper to flare up more often than usual. The fact that she was struggling to control her powers only made it worse.
Learning to control her powers was a lot harder than Trix had initially thought it would be. In the beginning she would randomly cause small fires wherever she went. She also couldn’t control the size of the flames she created and she struggled to make the flames go away once it was already there. The headaches and constant feverish temperatures were also hard to handle in the beginning and they would also fuel her short temper. Taking baths or showers were also a struggle for her since she had developed an irrational fear of water. She flat out refused to set foot anywhere near a swimming pool.
Trix had been at Kocher for almost two years when her father decided to start his own architectural practise in the USA. The whole family moved to Rutland, Vermont and Trix was transferred to the Hammel Institute. Although she still had to live in the dorms, Trix was a lot happier since her parents were close enough if she ever needed them and she could see them as often as she liked. She also felt more at home at the Hammel Institute than she had ever felt at Kocher and even joined the school band and the dance team.
As time passed she gained more control over her powers. She made a few good friends and came to terms with her sexuality. She came out to her parents when she was sixteen and they were both very supportive. When she requested it, her mother even took her to get the words “Always be yourself” tattooed on her wrist. A while later she got a musical note tattooed on her finger as well.
Trix has now grown into a confident young woman, not only in herself but with her powers as well. She is still very careful not to let the flames get out of hand and she sometimes struggles to create fire voluntarily when she is under pressure. The headaches are still an issue and Trix is careful not to overexert herself. She still has trouble with her fear of water and tends to shower as quick as possible.
Roleplay Example
Trix was sitting against a tree, her eyes closed and her head leaned back against the bark as music blasted from her earphones. It was a sunny day, but not hot enough for her to be uncomfortable. Her lips moved as she mouthed the lyrics to the song currently blaring in her ears. She was careful not to sing out loud though since she knew that she didn’t have the best singing voice.
Trix knew that she still had some homework to do, but she couldn’t bring herself to move from her spot. She reckoned she could do it in the morning, before class. It wasn’t much anyway and someone would probably let her copy. Around her she could hear other students talking and moving around, but she easily blocked them out. Soon she lost herself in the music and slowly slipped into dream world.
