General Appearance: Ellie is a laid back kind of girl. She prefers to wear jeans and shirts focusing more on the comfort side rather than being stylish. She always wear her silver moon pendant which was a gift from her parents. She wears her hair down or in a messy pony tail which sometimes covers her face. She always have her mailman's bag and her nerdy glasses. Her body built is not that defined to be considered in any sports, she's slim and with her height she had a hard time joining any sports activities. When she walks, everyone can see how careful her movements were. Others may see it as shyness but for her, she does not want to be the center of attention
Personality: Elena is a type of girl who prefers to be off the radar. She's shy and wants to be alone most of the time. She's very intelligent at her age but she's not the type to boast her abilities. She loves to help others in need but she prefers to help behind the shadows
She has a hard time trusting anyone unless she spends a significant time with that person. She loves writing in her journal and spending time just observing everyone around her.
She loves to write everything she learns every single day. She keeps a journal and always brings it with her. It was her life companion, it was the only way that she can express everything that is in her mind, every emotions, and every words that she cannot utter due to shyness and lack of confidence.
She's very neat and organize. She gets easily startled if any of her plans does not go as the way she wanted it to be. Her father was a Meta human with the ability to levitate things and move objects, while her mother was a Meta human as well which has the ability to control water. Her parents decided that they will hide their abilities and live a normal life with their daughter.
Her father works as a general surgeon in the town's hospital while her mother has a home based pastry shop. They live a very normal life, simple dreams with everyday challenges that they face together as a family. Elena was a very cheerful kid, although a bit frail looking she had a very happy childhood.
Elena was contented with the life she has, how can she complain when she has her loving parents always beside her. She was happy but somehow she felt that something was missing in her life.
One afternoon while Elena was spending time with her father, her father suddenly had this weird idea about Elena being normal human. Her father was not pretty sure at first but maybe theres a chance that having Elena as a normal kid will grant them a more peaceful and normal life. No powers and no complications. She was given the instruction to concentrate on a book that was on the office table.
"Why don't you concentrate on that book and imagine something happening to it" her father's voice was very warm and reassuring. She quickly nodded and both of them waited for something to happen. Her father was not expecting anything, all that he wanted was her daughter to be healthy and enjoy life.
"Try to calm yourself and focus on the book honey...." her father reaches out to touch Elena's hand. Suddenly the book float 12 inches above the table. Both of them were caught off guard that Elena suddenly step back with a slight distance from her father. The book drop with a sound as it fell on the table.
She smiled towards her father "Did i do good?"
"You are very special. You have the same gift as me." her father smiled to her as he shows her daughter his gift. Elena was very happy that she shouted for her mother to go upstairs in the study room to show what they can do.
"Mom........mom" she ran towards her mother as she reaches for her hand. "Look I can float the book like dad" she was focus on the book while she didn't realize that the object Elena manipulated was the water inside the glass which was beside the book. She was not expecting another discovery but both of her parents knew at that time what she was capable of doing.
Both of them approached their daughter. "Honey.....what you can do is not the same as what me and your dad can. You can copy any ability by touching someone with another special gift." she was a bit scared and frightened but she was glad that she has her parents to make her understand. After a week a representative from Hammel Institute arrived at their humble home with an invitation for their daughter to be enrolled in their facility.
After spending the first few months in Hammel, Elena was able to be accustomed to with life in the institute. The classes was fun for her since she was always thirsty for knowledge and little by little she was able to understand what her ability can do which was to mimic any power that she touches. As usual Elena was the shy girl of the group, she was always the nerdy quiet one who prefers to read books than to spend time with other students.
It was hard for her at first but she's actually trying to reach out and be sociable with others. Although she misses her parents, she knows deep inside that she has a long way to go to improve herself and at the same time she knows that staying in Hammel Institute was the best thing that happened to her.Roleplay ExampleCelestina
After the awkward exchange between the Sheriff, Celestina have this intent to have a word with Runeska about his action during the conversation. It was an ill feeling but nevertheless Celestina decided to let this pass in order for them to move forward. After scanning the area, she was pretty sure that she recognized the yoki signature that was coming from the Sheriff's office.
"It's her...." she thought to herself as she now have a slight clue what the Sheriff meant a while ago when she said about having other resources.
"Okay....." she mentioned towards the group as she decided their next plan. "We have some information from the Sheriff that might help. Runeska and Jacqueline will go to the Literature Club, while me and Noah will head towards the nearby tavern." after speaking in a rather calm manner she waited for anyone to add something or suggest towards their next plan. If no one disagreed or added anything, then they will proceed with their plan
Before heading out Celestina voiced out what she found awhile ago during her previous scan. "Another source of help the Sheriff did mentioned awhile ago must be Renegades. Be very careful in dealing with them, I was able to sense one and her name is Gwyndolin. Do not trust her or deal with her in any manner, I was able to meet her during one of my mission in Lido and i can say that she's selfish and will not concern herself in helping anyone other than herself."
Celestina will head towards the Tavern nearby and hoping that Noah will follow her lead.
"Excuse me, who runs this tavern?" Celestina will try to inquire in her most charismatic manner hoping that her question will not be ignored and will be addressed immediately.What About You?Name: Elise
