Genevieve looked about the cafeteria, gulping slightly. Was it her or people were... staring? She carried her lunch, eyes downcast, frowning at her meal. Salad and honey. Well, it was her own fault for choosing it, but at least the meal seemed as bland as her mood. She sighed, still standing awkwardly in the place, trying not to put much attention to others. It was all in her head, she figured. There was no way people could tell she was a liar, a fake. The idea almost brought tears to her eyes, but she managed to still keep composed. What a week.
The French girl had accepted a few days ago to be part of her friend Osiris' scheme to... appear heterosexual? It didn't seem that important to Genevieve to keep it a secret that he was seeing another boy, but from his reaction and explanation, it seemed it was to him. So of course she'd agreed to help and pretend to be his girlfriend. Pretend be the one leaving those kiss marks all over his neck and take the blame from it. Was that why people were staring? She took a deep breath and looked up. It didn't matter because she had already decided she was going to help him no matter the consequences. Besides, it wasn't like people cared, and if they did, they shouldn't because she was pretty sure the older kids were doing far worse than what was being told she did. Exactly what was being told, she didn't know, but it shouldn't matter to other people. If she had a boyfriend, which she didn't, and if she wanted to do things with him, that she actually hadn't done, then it was just her business and not theirs. It still didn't keep her from flushing every time someone dared look at her, as if she knew they knew or thought they knew or- Wow, she was really losing her mind. Now time to sit down.
And here was another nightmare moment, courtesy of the Hammel Institute. Osiris was nowhere to be found today. Probably with Rue. mused the French girl as she walked through the tables, feeling annoyed at him for it, though she wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because facing people alone was a tad scarier now that she was supposed to be in a relationship. So where to sit? Somewhere? Please? She was about to sit next to someone when they gave her a glare and she kept walking pass them. So rude.
"Ah!" She exclaimed as soon as she saw a familiar face and hurried to him. It was Alanna's friend! She'd seen him before! He would let her sit with him, right? "Ja-Jasper?" She said in a shy, low voice, thinking perhaps he'd heard any rumours about her and wouldn't let her approach. "Um... I can sit, yes?" She almost pleaded with her eyes, "Please?"
