Single, Solo, and...sort of okay (open)

With a bang of the cash register, Caelum smiled brightly. It was the end of his shift and time to just relax, go home, or do whatever he liked. This is why Caelum found himself wandering the mall and looking at anything and everything. Not really planning on buying anything, but still, it was fun to window shop from time to time. It was one of the few things that would take his mind off things.

Probably got that from his mother, she would take him shopping with her all the time. Of course, he didn't know then that it was more to avoid his father than anything else. Not that he blamed her for it. Besides, he had other things on his mind...that he didn't want there. Things being the reason he wasn't home. A certain person had moved to the Lakeview area of town and if you asked him, that was bit too close for comfort. This person of course being Kai. 

Caelum was no longer mad at the man, or himself. Heck, he was practically over it, but the thought of randomly running into him at any given moment without the possibility of a buffer was a bit much. Once again, he was happy for Zach, really. The moth man cared for the guy deeply and really hoped he was happy. As his brain muddled through all of this information, mixing in with the still minor humiliation from his sisters "party", his stomach began to growl. 

Without another thought, he changed his course directly to the food court. Once there, he got as much junk food as humanly..or metaly possible. As he turned with a tray piled high of pizza, ice cream and fried things of all descriptions, he almost ran into to someone. "Oh god, I'm sorry! I didn't get anything on you did I?"

Lunchtime. Kristina's favourite part of her day. Especially when said day involved a long shift at From The Spectrum. While she had grown to love her job, she also enjoyed the downtime that came when her lunch break came. She had been staring at the clock for the past hour, willing for time to go faster. Finally, her manager said she could go.

So, Kristina made her way, purse slung on arm, down to the mall's food court. While she normally tried to pack a lunch from home to save a bit of money, she had run out of time this morning. She eyed all her options, before opting for the Thai place. Within a few minutes, her order was placed and all she had to do was wait.

A few more minutes and she was handed a tray. Now to find a place to sit down... Kristina's eyes darted across the limited seating, finding an empty stool a bit away. Her course was altered when someone suddenly darted into view. A man with a tray full of food. Thankfully, they managed to avoid a collision, but it had been a close call. Eyes widening, she looked up at the stranger before down to her clothes. All good. Kristina breathed a sigh of relief; god knows how expensive replacing her work clothes would be.

"It's okay, no worries." She assured him, looking up again with a small smile. "Nothing got on me. I'm sorry, I should have been paying more attention."
