Ever since he had broken his previous training dummy he had been avoiding getting a new one and was looking for other was to train. But the fact was and always would be that hitting a dummy around made for a good workout, and could help with letting aggression out when it was needed, so he had bought a new one yet could not muster up the strength to get rid of his old one as it held too many good memories for him to let go. He was using it when he met Karalie, when he net Axelle, when he met Anthy. He didn't count the whole affair with the bee in her case.
His new dummy was not a hardwood one, but a dummy mounted on a spring. A dummy that sprung back after every hit had forced him to move even faster or move around more to avoid getting hit. Like every other training session he would set it up in an area with lots of space to move around because he would move around no matter what, but right now he would be forced to do so more actively, working up more of a sweat and burning more of what he needed to burn; memories.
He wouldn't go to the courtyard, the temperature was beginning to stop him from going outside and with what he was going to do he usually shed his shirt to prevent it from sticking to him when he had been going at it for a while, and with the weather at this time of year it would be almost a guarantee of the flu or something. No, he'd just keep to the inside taining area for now, like the first time he had done. Though this brought some bad memories with it it was still an effective way of training.
He placed the dummy in the center of the ring and placed his bag in the corner, it held most everything he needed; mostly water. He then took off his shirt as a precaution, chucking it in the corner and over his bag as he took his phone out of his pocket and threw it in the direction of his chucked shirt when he placed his fist on the dummy and instantly felt the dummy moving with it. This one was easier to move but would hopefully take more abuse.
He hit it a few times and found that it actually swung back as he had been expecting, forcing him to move to the side to avoid being hit and losing his momentum.
After a few rounds of hitting it he felt something of a sweat coming on, beads dripping from his forehead as he decided to take a breather. He walked over to his bag and took out a bottle of water. He unscrewed the cap and began chugging when he finally lowered it and turned his gaze to the ceiling for a moment, breathing heavily and sweat running down his chest.
