Thread Roulette: Video Killed the Radio Star

Katya and Samantha Emerson have been assigned the task of putting together a music video for a popular song, but it can't look anything like the official music video. The local radio station has kindly volunteered to let them use their equipment, and they have the camera from the public access network.

Samantha wandered around downtown, looking for the radio station she was supposed to be at. She didn't particularly mind, for the weather was nice and she wasn't too worried about being late just yet. She turned the corner and spotted a brick building that matched the descriptions that the locals had given her. She smiled in pleasant surprise and hurried to the door.

Her already cheerful demeanor was brightened even more as she was given her task and ushered to an area where she would meet her partner. Ideas were buzzing around her head, each one more extravagant and unreasonable than the last. She snorted, telling herself to rein in her imagination. She heard someone enter and turned around with a smile on her face.

"Hello! Are you here for the music video too? My name's Samantha." She said, extending a hand. A light blush colored her cheeks, and she said, in a more reasonable speed, "Sorry about that. Just got a little excited." Her expression was apologetic and a little sheepish as she observed this new friend's (hopefully!) reactions.
