The BasicsName: Logan Joseph Young
Nicknames: He is called Lo-lo and Lo-joe by his family, but he doesn't like it.
Age: Twenty-six
Orientation: Straight
Desired Rank/Job: Logan was recently hired to teach chemistry classes at Hammel.
Powers: Shapeshifting: Logan's shapeshifting allows him to appear like fictional characters from cartoons, comics and such. His appearance doesn't change to match actors who've played as the characters in live action shows and movies though. Instead his body shape, eye color, and hair will adjust to match the drawn appearance. It works for female characters as well as male, and the result looks like a very accurate cosplay. His shifting leaves him sore and fatigued, and he can only stay as a character for about two hour and a half hours, but less as a female because he's unaccustomed to it. Staying in another form can lead to the character's quirks rubbing off on his for a little while. Such as Thor's speech pattern, or Tarzan's habit to walk with his knuckles.

Any Piercings? None
Any Tattoos? He has three water color tattoos one on his calf, On his upper left arm, and on his left forearm.

General Appearance: Logan is a 6'2" man who weighs in at about 210 pounds. He is fit and thin with tanned skin seeing as he has a native Hawaiian mother and a caucasian father. His face as a strong jawline with a bright toothy smile. His eyes are dark brown as is his hair. His hair is cut short with swept up bangs in a faux hawk style. He dresses very casually but still in a professional way for work. He wears button down shirts of any color or pattern, and sometimes leaves them half buttoned with a t-shirt underneath. He has a love of scarves and layers in colder weather. Jeans whether skinny or loose are common, and for more important dates a clean pair of slacks.
Personality: Logan has a lot of energy to go around. He is full of life and smiles, and is always doing something. He paces when teaching in front of a class, playing sports or exercising in his free time, and just plain fiddling when he's sitting around. As a hands on learner himself, Logan tries to engage his students in activities and experiments rather than constantly take notes. At times he might even take his classes outside and play games that seem more like gym class than chemistry. Out of all the sorts of things he does, he certainly loves to see things go boom, but does know when not to set fire alarms off.
Talkative and friendly, Logan Young is a social butterfly. He spends time outdoors, going places and meeting new faces. He'd rather be where things are happening and where the people are than lounging around at home. He doesn't do the whole hangout and sit around deal. Logan gets his companions engaged too, even if it's just a walk to the coffee shop. He feels better when he's involved in something. Once a conversation gets going, Logan will do his best to avoid awkward silence. He transitions from subjects, and lets other people get their interests in too. Frankly, if Logan gets any interest, he'll give anything a shot with someone's good word of it. He's the do anything at least once kind of guy.
Logan is pretty ambitious and headstrong. He gets an idea into his head, and it becomes hard to stop him. He doesn't always think first, and dives straight into experiments, dares, or just a stupid stunt. Usually he realizes that it was a bad idea or he forgot a part right as it's too late. He doesn't get into serious harm, and generally his stupid stunts include bike tricks, blowing up a microwave or something that size, or even crashing a rocket or something airborne on the roof of someplace. He still has this childish nature about him even though he does his best to remain composed and a responsible adult.
He can also get pretty flirtatious around women. Logan will happily introduce himself and turn on the charisma to a pretty face. He keeps his mind open for a relationship, but settling down is out of the question. How could he commit himself to only one lovely lady. Flings, one night stands, hook ups, what ever you want to call them, Logan would be delighted to climb into bed with a girl he swayed.Your ]VicesLikes: Logan likes watching chemical reactions, baseball, soccer, cooking, spicy food, curry, being up and moving, flings, Bill Nye the Science Guy, warm weather, crafts, dancing, pork, experiments, women, and snowboarding.
Dislikes: However, Logan doesn't like being scolded or told off by more experienced teachers, the crazy winter the North East has, having to teach with lectures and note taking, grading work, long car rides, cars in general.
Strengths: Logan is good at chemistry, he did get a job to teach it after all. He was originally going to continue his learning to become a pharmacist, but stopped his education then. As he lives by himself, Logan is also pretty good with cooking, laundry and other household chores. Also, while he is by no means at professional standards, he does fairly well with ballgames like baseball. Logan is a pretty good flirt too, seeing as he's no stranger to flings.
Weaknesses: Logan isn't one to think ahead, and can be reckless in that way. He doesn't drive, and hasn't even renewed his driver's license for a few years. He's also allergic to aspirin and ibuprofen which he reacts to with hives.
Fears: Logan really doesn't like being in a car or bus at all. He gets really nervous when someone else is driving. He'd much rather take a train, walk, or ride a bike.
Secret: While he doesn't use his power much, because of it he has become a bit of a closet comic nerd.Family TiesFather: Daniel Young
Mother: Samantha Young
Siblings: He has three younger sisters. Melanie is 24, Karlie is 23, and Lindsay is 19. Melanie is also a meta-human.
Any Other Important People: Logan has a couple of great danes, Talulah and Penelope.HistorySamantha's a flight attendant. She's a Hawaiian native, but after traveling so much, decided that a little apartment on the mainland would be simple. So, she now had a little place of her own in Los Angeles. That's where she met Daniel, a chiropractor that lived next door. They didn't really know each other too well, but she enjoyed talking about her travels with him over a cup of coffee. A few months later, it became a little bit more than just a little coffee date. They spent more time together, got to know each other, and spent some rather nice nights with one another. One thing became another and after two years, they married.
The couple went to Hawaii for their honeymoon, and ended up moving there permanently back on the island Samantha called home. She took a job at an airport rather than traveling with the planes, and Daniel had set up a nice business there with his trade. Logan came along, and the two were pleased to have a little boy of their own. They doted on their baby happily. Once he started walking, nothing would stop him. He loved to explore and run about in the sun right from the start.
At two years old, Logan was surprised that there was suddenly a new child in the house, then another in the next year! He was jealous that parents doted more on the new born Melanie and Karlie, but he found her boring when all the little girls could do was cry and coo. Instead, Logan adventured off with other toddlers, making sure he knew every rock and bush in the area. He'd go on adventures happily, as his sisters got older he found them more fun. They'd tag along, and dare him more than any of the neighbor boys would. As much time they spent together, they sure ran each other up the walls. Then came another little girl, Lindsay, and Logan was drowning in little sisters.
When Logan was in school, he only did well in classes he liked. He didn't really try in the boring classes. Gym, science, and art were among the fun ones. He loved running around and could easily get himself into team sports, and growing butterflies, beans, and making a baking soda/vinegar volcano was always fun. Logan really had to work hard to get through his tougher classes, but he managed. When he was little, his dream job was to be a doctor like his dad... Or be a firefighter with a cool axe. But as middle school came on, and preteens had to start doing projects about realistic careers. Logan still wanted a job with medicine, and so he stuck with the idea of being a doctor. Because of this, he started trying a bit harder with taking classes seriously.
Merely twelve years old, Logan's power manifested. He didn't even notice. While watching his favorite cartoons, he'd start to shift into his favorite characters a little, but not for long. He never realized it, and always blamed body aches and pains from sitting around too long. His parents have only caught glimpses of this, and were only mildly concerned as he was never a couch potato. Karl tried her best to get him to do it again, but he was confused each time she tried to explain the phenomenon.
A little after a week later, a recruiter from the Hammel Institute arrived. Hearing he had powers, Logan was excited and couldn't wait to get going, while his parents wanted to know about every little detail before he went. Once there, the boy was a bit disappointed that it was so much more like a regular school than his twelve year old mind imagined. Still, through the years he bore through classes, and worked slowly but surely with his powers and trainer. He became accustomed to his new surroundings of Vermont, and was happy to go to the University of Vermont after leaving the Institute. His goals to become a doctor lower to becoming a pharmacist, which he was still happy to strive for. He kept hard at work at the University, but one can only bear so much of one thing. Logan grew tired of being a student. He left his education early without getting a degree in medicine. Instead he returned to Pilot Ridge, where at first he was a student teacher at the local high school. But a year after that, at twenty-six years old, Logan was hired at Hammel to teach chemistry.Roleplay ExampleRed wings shot out and Jake lunged into the air, flames wound around his body. Once fully in his dragon form, he quickly chased after some trouble that could also fly. The figure noticed him pursuing, and quickly ducked down into an alley. The American Dragon folded in his wings and dove down after.
Jake had dealt with mythical creatures for years, but this one was odd. It looked like nothing but a shadow, and when he threw a fireball at it the fire went right through it.
In the alley, Jake found himself alone. The figure was just gone. He swept his tail through the shadows to check if it was blending in, but there was nothing. Returning back to his human form, Jake groaned with frustration.
It was the fourth time this month that thing showed up, or at least it’s kind. If there was more than one running around, he couldn’t tell them apart.
With a sigh the young man started his way back to the shop. It was the one that his grandfather used to own. But as time went on, his grandfather had duties to attend to in his home, China. By that time Jake was old enough to take over the shop, and has been taking care of it since. On the bright side, the sarcastic dog, Foo, was still there to give company and dry humor.
The little bell jingled as he entered, and he stopped to flip the little sign hanging on the window to say "OPEN". Business has always been slow for the little store, but there was always a chance someone would come wandering in. He sat on a stool behind the counter, and laid his head down. He really needed to figure how to catch that... thing. What About You?Name: Aye/Ayeh
