{TW: Death} Forgotten Times (Open)

[Aiya Raptor]

I walked into the office, looking around, finding my way towards the office desk where I saw the secretary sitting.
"Excuse me, I seemed to have lost my schedule somewhere...again. Do you mind printing me a new one? My name's Aiya Raptor," I politely smiled at the secretary feeling stupid.
I lost my schedule again and now I have to stand here and look like an idiot, again, who can't seem to keep track of anything she owns. I have a problem with losing things most of the time. I've been in the office quite a lot, asking where my things might be and most times, they tell me to check the lost and found, so I do and then whatever I'm looking for ends up being in any one of my classes or in my dormroom. I looked around me to see if anyone else that had seen me do this before saw me. Thankfully, I didn't see anyone I knew, atleast the only person I looked like a doorknob to was this secretary. I sighed and turned towards the door, I need to keep track of my things more often. Then again, I always tell myself this and I never seem for this to work. I glanced to my shoulder and saw a feather sitting on top on my jacket. I tried to casually flick it off but this feather was one of the stubborn ones so I tried to nonchalantly pull it off and drop it on the ground. The feather thing was also a common occourance of mine, it was really annoying and could be really embarrassing when I tried to talk to some of the attractive boys at this school. And of course I had pale skin, so the embarrassment showed quite clearly through my cheeks. I looked back at the secretary, smiling awkwardly.

Now, he didn't see nor hear the entire thing, but there was one thing he knew for sure and that was that he had never seen her before. The only thing he was good at was remembering a pretty face, and he had quite a few of those stored in his noggin', and now there was this girl of who he hadn't even caught the name though he was sure she did mention it if she was talking to someone in the main office. Avoiding that place like the plague was something Lucas did quite a lot, but not always succeeded at as the only way out was to go past the main office, it was like they wanted to see everyone who left and entered the school or something.

Normally he would have barged in with a comment or something about what was going on, but he literally just stumbled upon this as he wanted to take a quick drive to some place to clear his mind, something he had a need for as of late. But it seemed a much more rewarding situation had presented itself.

He waited until the girl was done talking before stepping in as blunt as always. ''If I said ya had a nice body, would ya hold it against me?'' He asked with a slight smile as he scanned her over. The hair was nice, and the eyes beckoning, let alone the features he looked for in a girl.

''Sorry.'' He said, taking a bow. ''Lucas Blacke, at yer cervix.'' He then raised his head with a wink. ''An' at yer service, too!''

I stood smiling and I placed my hands on the short wall-like structure usually found in front of secretaries. As I leaned over, I heard the door open and I turned my head to see a brown haired boy who I could tell worked on his body. I looked at me, and as he said, "If I said ya had a nice body, would ya hold it against me?"
I stood up and tried to look atleast a little casual and then suddenly he bowed, introducing himself. I laughed at his pun and I suddenly felt heat rushing to my face. No, no, pleeeaase don't do this to me now! I thought.

I knew my face lit up with red and the more I thought about it, the more I was embarrassed. Sometimes I regret not spending too much time around people when I was younger and not just my family, situations like these would be alot easier to handle. Why do I have to be so awkward all the time? What do I even say now? Do I say thank you? I fumbled with my words in my head and finally settled on something, "Thank you, I wish I could."
I stopped for a moment realizing what I just said and I knew my cheeks had probably just decided to share their colors with the rest of my face. I jumped back a little from the counter before saying, "Oh! Uhm, sorry that sounded alot, uh, better in my head before it came out."
I looked apologetically at him and I shamed myself for a moment for being an awkward person. I really need to work on that. I looked down for a moment and sighed. Then I looked back up at Lucas and smiled and laughed awkwardly.

A laugh, that was a new reation to his introduction, most girls took to mentally slugging him at those words, or worse. Jumping back to his upright position he looked around a bit to see if anything funny happened next to him or behind him that made her laugh, when he decided after confirming there was nothing there that he was the one she was laughing at. And really, why shouldn't she? It wasn't like he was being serious with those words and wanted a piece of girl-meat when he stumbled upon one or anything, especially not since that thing that had turned him into a woman devouring husk, yes he still felt stuff, but women only hurt him in the end, so simply playing at what they wanted to hear was nothing but a means to get what he wanted. And he could keep that shit going for as long as it was needed.

''Oh..'' Slowly he stepped a bit closer, knowing that he needed to watch his words a bit since the administration was close and he could still be punished like a student there. Soon he would graduate, but for now he was still very much a part of Hammel. ''It sounds just fine comin' out too.'' He replied with the intent of making it sound more like a joke than a flirt, but his eyes said differently.

Suddenly his mind sparked a bit, was she like Anthy? No, she got his pun, right? She wasn't oblivious like her, he hoped. She was way too cute to be oblivious. That and Luke didn't feel like throwing joke after joke and innuendo after innuendo only to have her not get it.

''So what're ya here fer anyway?'' He asked.

Oc: sorry I was out camping for 6 days /.\ and I started just a little bit ago but I'm supposed to put a warning if theres any touchy subjects like death here?

This Lucas guy, he seemed fun. He liked to make a lot of jokes and I liked that. It was nice to be laughing, especially since I got myself into this situation at the office. Why do I always need to lose everything? I smiled and allowed myself to get a glint in my eyes when he said, "It sounds just fine comin' out too.''
I laughed. Coming. I was so immature with dirty jokes sometimes. Ok, ok, most of the time. Its not my fault I find it funny and can't help but laugh, is it? I looked at his eyes and saw that they seemed to almost be flirty. No, this guy can't be flirting with me can he? No, no, he's just joking around. I remember my mother saying that my father used to be like this too actually. 'A charmer' is how she put it. I felt my heart start to beat a little. I can't be getting a crush on this guy. I mean he's attractive but I barely know him. I mentally strangled my feelings down and answered his next question. Oh jeez. Why was I here? This is embarrassing.

"Well," I started. "It's kind of a long story, but I lost my timetables. My mind is terrible with remembering where I had things last."
I smiled playfully and rolled my eyes, "This happens way too often for it to be ok."
I started to remember all of the times I've lost things, which is too many times. There was all of my binders atleast 4 times and then there's been my schedule atleast twice and I always forget where my classes are all the time because generally I'm too busy concentrating on if I have everything I need and not dropping things.

That's when I started to remember the one thing I lost only once. I tried to breathe smoothly and not show my emotion towards him. I could feel that my eyes clouded over a little and even though I may be smiling. I knew my eyes showed everything. My sister. The one it was my fault I lost. The one I accidentally killed. I tried to shake the thought out of my brain and I focused only on this guy's eyes. The one right in front of me, everybody was beautiful. But Lucas seemed to have a little more going for him and then I forced myself to think about the introduction we just had and I felt myself lighten up,

That was another one he needed to add to the list.. if only he knew her name. Which he didn't because she had mentioned her name before he got there, though he could have, if he used his brain, simply walk over and peek into the slips of paper she got, those things probably had her name on them somewhere. But right now her name wasn't all that important, maybe in due time but not right now. Right now her reactions did the most for her, what she obviously didn't know, and probably most girls he was around didn't was that Lucas was the best when it came to reading body language and he was proud of that fact, proud to the extent of relying on it though getting to remember it all was a bit.. harrowing at times.

Like how she laughed at the word coming, it showed she had humor, or how she looked at him and twitched just slightly as she seemed to remember something and associate it with him, or how her chest moved a bit faster when she looked at him as opposed to when she wasn't, how she got all nervous with him around when there was no real sign of her being nervous before she knew he was there. Or the simple smile paired with the roll of her eyes as she mentioned losing the timetables, like it was some kind of natural occurance.

Hmm.. how he loved looking at chests, and if people caught him staring he could always use his power to get out of it.

And then her expression faded, this wasn't the bubbly girl he had been speaking to even if it hel for just a mere second, he noticed the way her eyes showed that something was wrong, her smile just as fake at that time as Luke's smile was on any other time.

Luckily though, when her face returned to its original position he was glad, happy he didn't have to deal with it. Lord knew having his own problems was tough enough.

''Try memorizin' them, or writin' them down somewhere.'' He suggested. ''It helps.''

It seemed like he hadn't noticed my change in mood, that relieved me. I didn't want to get into it with someone I just met. I looked down at my reprinted schedule and wondered if we had any classes together that I hadn't noticed him in. Although, I would be surprised if I didn't notice him in my classes. Looking up, I couldn't help but allow my eyes a short peek at his body and wow. I wondered if we'd ever hang out at all. I looked at his face just as he gave me advice.
"Ya know, that wouldn't be a bad idea," I smiled. "Thank you, I can't believe I didn't think of that, I was thinking about doing some complicated memory thing."
Maybe I should ask to hang out? I wasn't sure if he'd be okay with it but why not give it a shot anyway right?

I took a long breath in, trying to gather all my nervousness into a ball in my lungs and push it out with the exhaled air. I hoped that he'd want to hang out, I'd hope that he wouldn't just look at me funny, say no and never talk to me again. I've heard that happens to some people. I hoped with my blue eyes and said it, "I was wondering..." I paused. "Would you possibly wanna hang out?"
I mentally crossed my fingers and my heart pounded and the blood was rushing to my face and my head and I couldn't think straight. I felt my palms start to sweat and my whole body heat up. Please say yes, I thought. He seemed nice, sweet, attractive, and funny. I couldn't just let that turn around and walk out the door without knowing if I could ever hang out with him or atleast talk to him some other time.

I shouldn't have asked that so quickly. We've been talking for maybe, what? 5 minutes? I tried to push down all my doubts and the blood in my cheeks but it proved to be more difficult than I thought it would be and I was wrestling myself inside. I put my hair behind my left ear with my hand and suddenly got self conscious. I knew why I felt this way, because he was wow and I didn't know if I looked as good to him as he did to me but I never feel really self conscious all the time. I got nervous but I hadn't really had much experience with this feeling. When I did though, it only lasted for a few seconds before shaking it off. Which is what I did.

Heh, complicated memory things, if only she knew what Lucas was capable of then. ''I could help with th' memorizin' thing if yer up fer it.'' He offered with a shrug, propping himself up against the wall as he looked at her. It seemed she was being more nervous by the second as she went on, starting out normal with her going on about how she forgot stuff and his idea was a good one, and ending up.. well, all weird and funky. He saw it in her eyes, had done so for a while now but neglected to tell her, he knew that whatever she was thinking of a while back was something best left unsaid, Lucas knew the feeling of that happening because he had plenty of stuff he didn't want to talk about either.

He smiled back when she did, noting her looking him over and lightly chuckling at the fact there was more of that happening by the day, when she suddenly dropped the bobmshell of hanging out. Normally Luke found himself to be the one to ask that to people instead of the one being asked, and this was pretty soon, like, he didn't even know her name, which was odd. He did have an idea about why she wanted to hang out though, and truth be told he always had the same reasons for asking someone to hang out. Now it would suck if her reasoning was different, but hey, the guy was great at reading body language, not minds.

''Sure, I guess. If ya don't mind seein' me without a shirt an', ya know, off campus. I'm leavin' fer another place in a bit. Still got some stuff ta take care of though.'' He said, the letter his parents gave him still fresh in his mind, that and he was figuring out what he would do in terms of living for college, Hammel was no longer an option since he had to leave the place soon.

''Ya look cute anyway, so yeah, I'll 'ave some fun with ya.'' He said with a smile and a wink.

OC: So I just found out that Aiya and Lucas are in the same dorm room, I recently just found her a room and ta-da, so this should be interesting. Would you want to plot things between them /:?

That would be great if he could help me out with memorizing things and plus it's an excuse to hang out with him right? I watched him as he propped himself up against the wall beside him. I nodded, "Why not?"
I stopped for a moment when he answered my hanging out question. He said yes! I began to smile. Sweet. I almost said 'yes!' out loud, but I was just able to sustain that urge. Whoa, whoa, hold up. No shirt? I laughed a little when he said that, wondering if he was joking, I started thinking about it a little and I felt heat rushing to my face, again. I began to wonder how many times I've started to blush now and I counted about 2 or 3, not including just now.

I looked down at my papers to check over everything, even if I couldn't get it stuck in my head. I saw my name in the top left corner and I stopped for a moment, realizing that I hadn't even told him my name yet.
"This slid passed my mind but I'm Aiya," I said. "Sorry about that."
I laughed and I put my hand behind my head, smiling awkwardly. I felt like such a dunce for forgetting to even tell him my name. How was it that I was good at math, but I couldn't remember things like this? I started to wonder where we could hang out that wouldn't seem too weird, like a sucluded place would be a bit weird I think but then, if could provide for some opportunities. I opened my eyes a little, realizing the thoughts I'd just had and got myself back on my train of thought. Maybe the mall? Or there's always downtown. That could be fun too. We couldn't be too long anyway, since he did say he had things to take care of later. I smiled and gave my thanks when he told me I looked cute. That was a good sign.
"Hey, where would you wanna hang out?" I asked, tilting my head a little and lightening my voice.

I glanced again at my pages, trying to figure out where my new dorm was as well, I remember being in there when no one was there and I was pretty sure I'd left my iPod there by accident.
I looked up at him and asked, "Uhm, question number two, do you know where Room..." I paused, looking at my pages again. "212 is? I just switched this morning and no one was there so I couldn't meet my roommates either, figured I would, plus I'm pretty sure my iPod's there."

[OOC: So yay! Butbutbut, Luke has graduated and leaving Hammel. But yeah, I'd like to plot ^^]

Things were starting to look good for Lucas, or at least he thought so when he saw her blush right after his comment about being shirtless. True, most people blushed at the thought of a shirtless him but it never ceased to amuse him, and that feeling only got stronger when she actually took the time to think about it. Had he.. by any chance found the female version of himself? She was just as fast with it all and she seemed to think about all the right things, though she also looked a bit clumsy with the forgetting of timetables and all, but that reminded him of when he first met Marnie.

Then she introduced herself, not with her full name like Lucas did but it'd do for now, besides, if they were to hang out he'd figure it out soon enough. And maybe some other things too, like what she looked like without clothing on. God he needed a rebound.. again. That and she genuinly seemed like fun from what he had seen so far. Maybe they could be what Zoelle and he never were; casual.

''I'm Lucas Blacke.'' He responded as he stepped away from the wall and made his signature bow. ''At yer cervix, milady.'' Yeah maybe he was older than her, but that didn't stop him from treating her like a princess, or his equal at the very least. ''Nice ta meet ya. Aiya.'' He spoke as he went back to leaning against the wall.

Then she asked where he would like to hang out, which were lots of places really. Hanging out with people didn't require a specific place, didn't it? In most of his years he had never simply hung out with anyone, it was always girls this or fuck that, never just a nice day. ''I.. dunno?'' He asked, slightly slanting his head and looking at her. ''Anywhere will do, I s'pose. Depends if ya want people around or not.'' He added with a wink.

''212?'' He repeated, knowing that it was his room and finding it just his luck to have someone he could possibly get along with moving into his dorm room just as he was about to leave. ''That's where I live!'' He blurted out, quickly widening his eyes and smiling before realisation set in. ''Used ta live, sorry. Need ta find me a new place soon.''

Finishing my introduction, I watched him bow to me. I laughed. You don't see that everyday. Then he brought himself back up, and continued to lean against the wall. He was so casual and he was fun too. I feel like this could go somewhere. I was hoping it would go somewhere, further than friends. I wonder if it's bad that I'm excited to see this guy without a shirt on, probably not. I laugh at myself in my head and that's when he answered my question of where. I watched him slightly tilt his head as he answered, finishing it off with a wink. Goddamn this guy was smooth. Did I want to be alone with him? Yes. Did I feel like it might be awkward to say so? Yes. I really want to but then what if something goes wrong and then I ruin this whole thing I just got started? Screw it. Let's go somewhere a little more private.

Then he blurted out that 212 was also his dorm and I found my eyes widening with his and my mouth smiling with his, "Really?!" Until he said he had to move out of it, which I slowly slowly got a little dissappointed. It sucked that I just met this really cool guy and we could've been roommates together. That would've been fun haha, I thought suggestively. Then again, maybe it's better if he's moved out because my mom always said that if you spend to much time with someone, you tend to either get sick of them or they get sick of you. That's when I got an idea.

"How about we go back to my-," I stopped, contemplating whether it was my dorm or our dorm. I guess it was still our dorm since he wasn't moved out just yet, "Our dorm and I could help you pack up and you can help me memorize my schedule?"
And maybe some other stuff could happen too, I added in my head. I started to get a little red-faced, once again, thinking about him with even a little less clothes than shirtless. I tried so hard to push the thoughts out of my head, trying to keep my cool. I started wondering if he was just flirty or if he was genuinly interested in me. I looked at him with wonder in my ice blue eyes.

Helping her memorize her timetables couldn't be such a big thing, could it? He'd done it himself several times over, and though he was a cheat at the sort of stuff it was easily done. He was a cheat in other things too by the way, as lots of people would argue that he even got through school with cheating and he wouldn't even try to argue with that, he knew he did. His power was a cheat, but why not use what was given to you?

Anyway, the chat had been taking a few turns from the timetable thing, and had ended up in the dorm area and had forced Lucas to think about what he was going to do. He still had that letter of his parents he needed to open, so there was that to look forward to, and possible purchase of new books, and even finding a new place to stay. Lord knew no one had offered him anything, and why would they?

He noticed her mulling things over again and turned his full attention to her, and right when he said he had to move out soon she seemed to be experiencing joy that he was in the same dorm as her. Just his luck to move out the moment someone he actually liked moved in. Maybe he should just be blunt and ask her for a fuck or something, though he wasn't sure she wanted that what she did could make people think she did.

He didn't know if her helping him to pack up was such a great idea since his stuff ranged from normal to.. not normal to keep it in the green area. ''We could do that.'' He replied just as her face turned red once more. What was she thinking? Sometimes it sucked being able to see that someone was thinking deeply and not know what they were thinking of, but on the flipside Lucas knew precisely what he was thinking of, and that wasn't really helping her memorize anything, nor cleaning out his room.

''Or we could just hang out up there. Pretty sure that'll be fun, show ya around a bit.'' He siad with a wink. ''Maybe test out the couch an' the bed, perhaps the showers an' th' floor. Lotsa things.''

Aiya began wonder how things would turn out in the long run with Lucas. Would they actually end up being together? Or maybe he was just a huge flirt and wanted more than friends but less than a relationship. Aiya would just have to see where it took them. She hoped that she wouldn't end up getting hurt like she heard so many others did. Lucas didn't seem like that sort of guy from what she'd seen so far though.

For the first time in their meeting, she began to wonder what his power was. Her's was, well, interesting. Not too many people really thought of her shapeshifting into a bird of prey until after she told them. She never really mentioned what happened when she turned into a bird either. With the mice and the rodents. Not to mention, the ocassional small cat or dog when she was an eagle. She didn't like to think about that too much, it just happened, she couldn't really control her choice of food too much when she was in that form.

Before she could ask what his power was, Lucas spoke. He seemed to be thinking about something and then he said, "Or we could just hang out up there. Pretty sure that'll be fun, show ya around a bit.'' She blushed as Lucas winked and continued, ''Maybe test out the couch an' the bed, perhaps the showers an' th' floor. Lotsa things.''
Aiya looked at him and tried to figure out whether he was joking but laughed a bit anyways just to make sure. She looked around a little to see if anybody had been staring at them the whole time and sighed in relief as no one was there and the secretary seemed to have got up and left in the time they were talking.

"That could be fun," She said, laughing. "Do you want to head over there now? I think we've disturbed the office enough for today."
Aiya smiled up at him and tilted her head a bit as she moved towards the door, also moving closer towards him. She wasn't sure what made her say that, but for some reason, it just slipped out of her mouth, along with the smile. He seemed like the kind of guy who could handle it anyway. She was about to reach for the doorknob when she realized that his lower half was leaning over it. She looked up and said, "Could you please move your man parts away from the doorknob?" She smiled. "Please?"

He laughed when she asked if he wanted to move his 'man parts' from the door. And here he was thinking that getting to touch those was her whole plan the entire time, and he wouldn't even stop her as he was sure she'd like what she would encounter. But he did get to thinking though, the getting upstairs.. did she want what he wanted? It'd be a good way to say goodbye to Hammel and break her in or something. Maybe she'd even sleep in his bed! Well, assuming they'd both be sleeping in his bed several times he thought that that possibility was there.

Never once did her power cross his mind though, he wasn't sure what it was and while he usually did get very excited in seeing powers at work he didn't care that much at that point. Getting out of a relationship meant that you cared a little less, right? He wouldn't stop her if she told him, but he wouldn't ask, and before anything fun would happen between them he would make sure to have told her about his power, so she knew that she was basically the one in control and could get him to do pretty much everything she could think of.

''Disturbin' stuff is fun though..'' He replied with a bit of a pouty face as she stepped a bit close, reaching out to the door knob then and asking him to move like he laughed at. ''I can, but where'd th' fun be in that?'' He said with a smile. In fact, he moved his man parts a bit closer to her as she said that just to annoy her/turn her on.

This would be a great way to figure out her exact intention, as he could get everything from a mere motion. Whether she merely frowned at the statement or actually smiled, Lucas would know what was up. ''Or do ya wanna.. leave th' fun stuff fer when we get ta th' dorm?'' He asked with a wink.

OOC: Sorry, I got a new job and I was dealing with orientation and training and the works

Aiya looked at him playfully as she watched him make a pouty face at her and tell her how it was fun to disturb things.
"Aw, now ain't that a shame," Aiya replied with a playful smile.
She had to admit, that the pouty face made him look even cuter. And his lips...Aiya began to realise how much she wanted to kiss him. She had thought about it earlier for a couple minutes but now she was realising that she really wanted this. She wanted to take him to the dorm room and 'test out the bed'. She smiled a little more at that.

Lucas began to move his lower body towards her hand that she was reaching for the door handle with. She looked down at the predicament for a moment, then, moving her hand into her front pocket, looked back up at him, hearing his voice laugh and seeing his mouth turned up in a smile. Aiya laughed with him, and sunk into the strange comfortability of the moment and said, "Maybe when we get up to the dorm room," With a wink, "Maybe we should test out the bed, just to make sure it works fine, see if it's comfortable enough."
Aiya hoped that he wouldn't be too weirded out by the comment, but from the way that their conversation had been heading, it didn't seem like he would be. He seemed to be too casual and funny for that.

She began to wonder what would happen if they went to his...her...dorm room. Aiya thought about it a bit and felt the butterflies deep in her stomach. Even though she had the butterflies, she still felt excited about the whole thing, it felt like a rush and it was great. Just saying what you wanted to, just going for it. Aiya felt she could with Lucas, even though she just met him, she just felt he was the sort of guy who wouldn't care much if you spoke how you felt. It was great. He seemed great.
