Breathe, Adrien, breathe. He slowly inhales through his nose and exhales slowly through his mouth. His whole body is numb and he can't feel his legs. No, wait, he can wiggle his toes a bit, but that's it, really.
It was one of those days where Adrien has to go to the gym to work out, and also to stay healthy. Now he remembers exactly why he only does this once a week; it was so damn tiring and no matter how many times he's been going, his endurance (or lack thereof) is still the same as ever. It's already a miracle that Adrien got his lazy ass out of bed and walked into the burning sunlight to go to the gym.
Yeah this workout is totally going well for him. Note the sarcasm.
Though, it must've been quite a sight if anyone sees him now: a young, healthy-looking teenage boy on the floor (albeit looking a bit sleep deprived), sweating and panting, and leaning against a far off wall when he only did his exercise for Adrien checked the clock that hung on the wall fourteen minutes. Wow, he must've looked pretty pathetic right now. Thank the lord he chose today to go to the gym.
It's currently empty right now because most teenagers his age would either be socializing or getting some last minute lunch. Adrien sighed, oh the pain of being shy and having no friends. Oh well, at least the quiet is a nice change from the usual rowdiness that is Hammel and its students.
Suddenly feeling sleepy, Adrien sat down and leaned his back against the wall. Maybe he should take a well-deserved nap. After all, this may be one of the rare occurrences where he can actually go to sleep. Closing his eyes, the meta's ragged breathing quickly became even.
