The BasicsName: Trevor Isaac Wallace
Nicknames: T, Trev
Age: 17 (August 13, 2000)
Orientation: Heterosexual
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Ocular Magnification
Trevor’s power is to actively alter his sight between the ranges of microscopic and telescopic. His eyes can function similar to a microscope with up to 1000x magnification, or telescopically up to 10 miles away (slightly higher than typical aircraft cruising altitude). As a side effect Trevor suffers headaches on the spectrum from mild to migraine. He is able to maintain altered vision for 5 minutes before headaches start to set in. Using his power in succession, switching between microscopic and telescopic quickly, or use for longer than 5 minuntes can lead to migrains or blacking out from strain on his eyes and brain. He is unable to see normally while his power is being used. The more constant side effect is bad eyesight and light sensitivity. When Trevor activates his power his eyes adjust to being nearsighted or farsighted after going microscopic or telescopic, respectively. This requires use of various prescription lenses depending on how his power has been used. After a full night of rest, Trevor can see without the need for glasses only until he uses his power.

General Appearance: Trevor stands just under six feet tall with a runner’s build. His dark brown hair is naturally wavy and kept cut to about an inch long. He rarely cares to style it, preferring the messy look. His skin is fair and doesn’t take to sun very well, burning first and tanning after. Trevor’s eyes are light brown in shade, often framed by thick-rimmed black glasses.
In warmer weather he wears dark shorts and t-shirts in the cooler spectrum of color, preferring blues and greens. In colder weather, he’ll often wear jeans with a t-shirt and his favorite hoodie. Some days he dons a navy beanie. All year round his choice of footwear tends toward comfortable running shoes.
Personality: If you asked Trevor’s friends, they would say that he is a big dork.
He is often seen smiling and goofing around with those around him. Trevor is not one to sit by and let conversation go without him. He is upbeat, and will often try to cheer up those that seem down. Ever the optimist, he often will see the good in situations and people before the bad. Somewhat forgetful and easy to distract, Trevor often loses his glasses when they are sitting atop his head.
There are days when he misses his friends and family in Virginia, where speaking with them over the phone or video chat doesn't quite provide the cure for homesickness. He would rather spend some time alone thinking and looking at the stars when in that sort of mood.
Slow to anger, Trevor can be immensely patient with people. He doesn't always know what a person is going through, so he feels that there is no point in making a bad situation worse. T’s also not one to let other people see him in a negative way. If he’s feeling down or angry, he’ll keep it bottled up to deal with it on his own time later.
Academically, T is diligent and hard-working. His grades fluctuate between high and average, depending on the subject matter.Your VicesLikes: Learning, Sweets, Stargazing, Nighttime, Biology

Any Other Important People: NoneHistoryTrevor Isaac Wallace was born early in the morning on a hot August day in Northern Virginia to Christopher and Alison Wallace, a young couple ecstatic to have a newborn son. The first couple years of his life were relatively uneventful and could be considered normal. The year before he was ready to start school, his younger sister Skylar was born. The family dynamic shifted in their home, but things remained typical.
The young boy started school, excelling at the more hands on sort of learning. He struggled with mathematics the most. It was during elementary school that he discovered a love for the night sky. When he was allowed to stay up later, Trevor would lay outside on the lawn and stare up at the stars.
Middle school was easy enough. Trevor wasn't one of the popular kids, but he was liked well enough. He maintained a group of friends and they occasionally get into trouble, but never anything terrible. It was in eighth grade when he tried running with the middle school track team as a sprinter.
It was the summer before high school that his power surfaced. He was goofing off with one of his friends when his vision changed, seeing in detail things he had only seen under a microscope. Sight went back to normal a short time after, a severe headache accompanying the sudden strain. He had trouble seeing the rest of the day, which his mother found odd. Such a drastic change in eyesight just didn't happen so quickly without something else involved. It did freak Trevor out more than a bit, though he kept it to himself. He had heard horror stories of people losing eyesight from his mom. What if, he thought, it was happening to him?
After a week of rapidly changing eyesight problems, Trevor found himself at the doctor’s office for a blood test. Both of his parents were aware of what burgeoning meta-human powers could look like and wanted to be sure. The results were positive, and only a few days later the recruiter from Hammel showed up. He was sad about having to leave his friends, but understood why. They would still be able to keep in touch.
Trevor adjusted well enough to life and school at Hammel. He made some friends, and joined the track team and astronomy club. Now he's a senior, and looking toward the future. He has learned control well, and is now scoping out colleges in the area since he has grown to love the small town.Roleplay ExampleTrevor lay back on the grass with a sigh. He enjoyed nights like this, looking up at the stars with little care in the world. At the very least, he wasn't thinking about much but the sky. He could remember one of the things that his father had said to him before coming to Hammel.
Remember T, even if we are far away from each other, we look up at the night sky and see the same stars.
"Man... Dad could get poetic," Trevor mused aloud to no one in particular as he exhaled. This was nice, at a later evening hour where the hustle and bustle of the school slowed. What About You?Name: Benji
