Post lunch entertainment!

Remle realized her mistake. "PM," she corrected herself as she took another bite and chewed. That way, even in the summer there wouldn't be full sunlight by the time they started and it would reduce the possibility of her tanking again. She'd have enough time to work out, shower and get to work. It would even help refresh her for her shift...shit it might actually help her sleep better later too, when she slept. She thought about a workout group and recoiled inwardly. More than one person seeing her struggle with physical exercise? No thanks. But, maybe that was selfish of her since Rhys seemed to be the kind of person who liked:

A.) being around people
and B.) physically exercising with them.

She really shouldn't make him do that with only her, or force him to juggle a separate schedule when she wanted to run.

"A group sounds interesting," she said when she finally swallowed. "It'd be fun," she lied. Well, it wouldn't be fun at first but maybe after she got used to it, it wouldn't be so bad. "Um, so do you just wanna run or is there anything else you like doing?" she asked as she set the fork down, already feeling much better now that she had some food in her. "Can I have some water please?" she asked a bit pleadingly now that her body began to realize it might need hydrating.

"Of course," he told her, quickly standing and crossing the apartment to the kitchen. Rhys pulled a glass from a cabinet and scooped some ice from the freezer with it. "I also have a pitcher of tea if you'd like that instead of water," he pointed out, waiting before he filled the glass with her preference.

"As far as workouts, I run pretty frequently, but I also go biking, swimming, weight lifting at a gym, or do some crossfit exercises. When I get lucky, I can catch pick up games of whatever sport in the park...doesn't happen as often as I like." Rhys shrugged as brought her drink to the couch and sat next to her. "Long story short, if it makes me sweat and works my muscles, I'm in favor of it."

Rhys ate a little more of the food he'd cooked and relaxed on the couch, enjoying the dim light and coolness of his apartment after the run.  "You're welcome to hang out as long as you'd like, Remle.  If you want to clean up, you can use the shower.  I'll walk you home when you feel up to it, alright?"  He didn't know how long it would take her to fully recover from the incident, but she definitely seemed like she was always starting to feel better.

"Water is fine," Remle said. Tea sounded good but she really needed the water. She nodded along with his list. Other than the Crossfit stuff everything else sounded doable to her. "Okay, I'm in," she surprised herself by saying. "Let's do stuff, um exercise together." she corrected. It sounded like fun, and since they'd be focused on exercising there wouldn't be a lot of time to talk, at least not much and that meant that she could control the content and flow of the conversation. She imagined not being able to breathe occasionally would also help with that. She drank the water rather quickly and realized she felt exhausted and wasn't shocked. "Uhm, thanks for the offer but I think I'd better head home before I fall asleep here, that would be a little bit too much embarrassment for me today,” she chuckled as she struggled to and finally managed to stand. “I think I need to hold onto you while we walk, just in case I start falling,” she shuffled towards the door and caught a chair to lean against before she could tip over.

She waved away any concerns with a shy smile. “Don’t worry about it, I’ll be fine. All in the program,” she explained as Rhys helped her out the door and dutifully walked her back to her apartment. Yup, she was def. going to sleep, immediately in fact, maybe right inside her front door if she couldn’t get into bed. Once she opened her door and stumbled over her threshold she turned and smiled. “Hey thanks I have your number now, I’ll text you later. Have a good night,” she said genially before she shut and locked the door and managed to make it to her couch before she collapsed, dead asleep.
