The days had been slow these past few weeks. Aside from him finally seeing his parents for the first time in years though, and yet he already had plenty of secrets he was going to withhold from them, like his never ceasing urge to be negative about everything he did toward other people. Maybe it wasn't so much an urge as a need, he thought. But no one really knew how he worked, or how his mind worked anyway. The person who had come closest was that one girl when he had just started going to Hammel. That and dating him, dating the Texan would get you pretty far in his mind. Sadly it never worked out.
It was almost like he was afraid to have people close, he had always said he knew that he would inevitably fuck up so he just made no effort to get close to people, but what if that was just pretending and there was some sort of fear there he was unaware of?
In order to clear his mind a bit he had gone for a jog like a few days ago, which ended up to be a little disappointing to say the least. But nevertheless it would all be okay in the end as long as he had time to himself, maybe other people were the problem, maybe he was the problem himself, but never would he have any problems with running. Luckily.
With his head bending down to his neck he heard a few cracks, he stretched his legs a bit and set out on a slow pace, which soon would go faster than most people would be okay with, and really, that was one of the upsides of his power; to be able to go and go and go with the same exact motion every day. If he got hungry, his body didn't care as it would just happily keep on moving.
Swishing past a few trees he came to the open body of water and came to an abrupt halt, yet did not sit down on the bench conveniently placed behind him as his legs kept moving in place. No, it was best to keep on moving even if you were standing still. It'd result in Lucas having less time to think and effectively ruin everything.
