Percie wasn't one who often took "cheating spouse" cases. She mostly focused on insurance fraud, cyber-security and the occasional missing person. But her cases were either stalled at the moment or finished and she had an excess of time and she wanted more money because more money meant more savings. So here the brunette was, casually trying to take pictures in the club of her client’s wife as the woman snuggled up to her lover. Percie had managed to wander close enough earlier to get a full blown conversation between them AND a proposal to join before she'd extricated herself. The tape recorder was safely in her handbag but she needed photo evidence too. It was difficult with the lighting and the constant moving to get a better, but also hidden position so she wouldn't raise suspicions. She was standing at a nearby table, trying to look like part of the crowd that frequented this place while politely turning down most of the offers that drifted her way. She and Derek still saw each other occasionally, though with much less frequency than before. While part of her was still fine with the "sex-friends" arrangement she was also starting to crave an actual relationship with someone, and knew that Derek wasn't the one that was going to give that to her.
All the better though, they'd never get along.
She played with her pearls a little and sipped at her drink, wondering if she could get some actual clubbing in while she was here without losing her prey but decided that it was best to hang back a bit before she got caught up in her night and forgot her work. She pulled her cellphone out again and focused it, pretending to be disinterestedly taking pictures of the people around her. If she snapped an extra 10-15 of a specific couple, she was sure no one noticed. She checked occasionally to make sure she wasn’t being watched before sidling closer, taking a few more pictures and coming away.
When the couple moved to the lower floor she “casually” followed at what she determined was a safe distance and then took more pictures. She leaned against a wall with her drink, pretending to look bored and realized that the ridiculous amount of pictures she’d taken tonight would also join the myriad of better pictures she’d developed from her other camera on her desk at home. She’ stalk them until they left and then see about doing something productive with the rest of her night.
