Oddly enough due to everyone referring to it as the lake there was not just a lake at the lake, there was an entire forest attached to it that could make for a great stroll with anyone if you needed to be alone and wanted to escape the prying eyes of the people riddling a public place. That and it held plenty of open spots too, great for a picnic in the middle of the forest. Which wasn't too bad of an idea.
But to Luke the whole forest idea were just trees on a running ground, something he could run in and train his avoiding skills a bit. Not that they were lacking, but it couldn't hurt to hone your skills, could it?
And as always, Lucas was briefly wondering about who he would meet this time around, seeing as he was kind of on a roll as far as new people went. It seemed that going for a run combined with the place he was in was a surefire way to get to know someone as he had done quite a few times that week. It was almost beginning to look like an epidemic, some would say.
The few people walking through the woods surrounding the lake would look up with a confused smile as they saw a young man running from tree to tree for no apparent reason at all, but there were also those who knew better and did not pay Luke any attention at all. They knew he was simply getting a run in in a way that trained everything and not just his legs and stamina. He pulled himself up tree branches and rolled his way down stuff, jumping and almost dancing, it looked like.
Until he saw a silhouette in the distance and he stopped dead in his tracks, holding his hand on a tree to slow his breathing down. The figure both was and was not human shaped. It held something that made Luke think of wings, and maybe that was what it were. Wings!
Enthralled with the idea he got a bit closer and got ready to speak when he noticed the (now obvious) girl with wings mutter a bit. Not quite sure what the issue was just yet he hesitantly shuffled a bit closer still.
''Need any help?''
