Secret Santa Fic and Graphic Exchange
How it Works
- Everyone who participates will write one fic and/or one graphic for another participant, and in return receive a fic and/or a graphic they request from another participant. (Limit one fic and/or one graphic request per person)
-At the bottom of this post, you’ll see two handy dandy forms one for fics and one for graphics. PM the form(s) to me (don’t post here or you’ll ruin the surprise!) and you’ll be entered in the drawing.
-After the drawing you’ll receive another member’s request, and will have until the deadline (see calendar below) to write the fic and/or design them a graphic! Then we’ll post the all to share and enjoy!
-This exchange is in no ways a contest. It’s the thought that counts here people!
Guidelines
1. Fics should be longer than 300 words (unless otherwise requested for a shorter length). Of course, the fics can be longer. If you've got the time and the muse if a-flowin' go for it!
2. Since we will be posting our fics and graphic on-site, please keep them appropriate for all ages. This means no nudity and no graphic images. Keep fics PG and be sure to include trigger warnings if needed. If you have questions about what is appropriate do not hesitate to PM me.
3. To keep things fair, everyone who wants to receive a fic and/or graphic must also write and/or design one. Please consider this carefully, because it won’t be fair if you request something but then gift one.
4. Characters: As you’ll see below, you can request the characters to be used in the fic and graphics; they can be your characters or someone else’s. Additionally, you must use all of the characters that are requested, but feel free to add others if you'd like (of course unless otherwise stated in the request).
5. If you chose to do a graphic remember there are no rules on the type or quality of the graphic. If you can do cool stuff with gifs, go for it. It’s your more of a find a cool picture and add cool text person then also, go for it! The purpose here is to have fun and spread the love!
6. Stories and graphics are not cannon.
7. Graphics should be no larger than 500x400.
Calendar
Signups: Now through November 13th at 12pm EST.
Assignments: Will be drawn the night of November 13th and PM’d to all participants.
Check-in: I’ll be in touch with everyone on December 4th to check in and see how things are going. This is not the deadline, but it helps to make check that people haven’t dropped out because things have come up, ect.
Reveal: Starting December 23th at midnight EST and goes until January 2nd at 11:59 pm EST. This is so folks have a whole week of leeway to deal with school, work, holidays, etc. If for some reason you can't post your fic and/or graphic then, you can finish it early then PM it to me and I'll make sure it get posted.
SIGN-UP FORMS
Note: DO NOT post your form to this thread; that ruins the surprise! Instead, PM your form to me (Zebadiah Hayes) from an account you check relatively frequently, and I will PM you back to let you know I’ve received it. Remember you can sign up for ONLY one fiction and/or one graphic.
Fic Request Form:

[b]CHARACTER(S) REQUESTED:[/b] (This is where you request which characters you'd like your fic to be about. Also if you want them to be the only characters. If you want to give your writer free pick on who to include, feel free to do that too.)
[b]FIC DETAILS:[/b] (This is where you suggest situations, settings, ect. Be as picky or as general a you want. If you want a specific pairing(s), a shipping fic, lay it out here. And if you just want drabble, a very short fic, say so here too. If you want to give your writer free reign, just say so.)
[b]WRITER REQUESTS[/b]: (If you as a writer have certain limitations which you would prefer, for example you don't want to write violence, , certain types of relationships, abuse, dying, ect, put that here. I will do my best to cater to everyone’s needs, thought it may not be 100% possible. Just remember to do your best, this is not a contest!)Graphic Request Form:

[b]SIZE:[/b] (What size you’d like the graphic to be.)
[b]REQUEST DETAILS:[/b] (What you’d like to see. This means the kinds of colors, backgrounds, ect. Here’s where you tell your Secret Santa what you’re hoping for. Also be sure to specify if this is a shipping graphic.)
[b]ARTISTS REQUESTS[/b]: (If you as an artist have certain limitations, for example you’d rather do a graphic that only includes one character, put that here. I will do my best to cater to everyone’s needs, thought it may not be 100% possible.
