There were a lot of things that could have gone wrong when it came to Devyn’s roommates, especially considering the horror stories he’d simply overheard in classes. So, he considered himself lucky, that he was paired with someone he quickly became friends with and someone he liked enough to think that it was possible they would be friends.
There was, of course, Xun, who was a little different compared to the other three occupants, and Devyn was never quite sure if he hated him (which was possible after the Halloween Dance incident), or if he was just really antisocial. Either way, Devyn had decided it best to just give the teen space and didn’t really mess with him too much.
It was this careful interaction of theirs that made it a little, hard for him how to proceed with their current situation. Bunny had given him a box full of some of the most delicious smelling cinnamon bun cupcakes he had ever smelled before.
As if knowing exactly what his plan was she had told him they were for sharing and had even written a reminder on the box in large girly lettering as if upon seeing the note he might feel guilty and actually do as she requested and share. The issue with this was that Devyn was a self-proclaimed cupcake fiend and felt no guilt.
So he did what any cupcake fiend would do when his roommate catches him trying to sneak a box of pastries into his room. “She misspelled my name,” Devyn said, the childishness of his statement unmasked in his voice, “It’s supposed to say For Devyn Only, so you can’t have any.”
