18 | LIGHT MANIPULATION AND BIOLUMINESENCE | HAMMEL STUDENT

Iris Applegate is a 5"9 hammel student with pale skin, dark eyes and reddish-brown hair. She usually wears a black and white shirt with denim jeans or shorts. At night, she tends to glow like a glowstick; since she struggles to control her bioluminescence.

She is a very childish character; preferring to avoid responsibility than confront it. However, she is surprisingly dirty-minded and has made her three brothers spit water at the unexpected filthy comment here and there. Iris can be lazy, due to her insomnia, but she will most likely go somewhere with you when you ask; just don't expect her to be paying any attention.

FRIENDS When Iris becomes friends with someone, she tends to develop an even dirtier mind around them but she'll always stick up or them. However don't try to persuade her to do homework, you'll only get fart noises in return. No friends :(

ENEMIES Iris can be strange around people she hates. A punch to the face, blinded by her literal light, a few venomous words or just ignoring them. It's like walking through an interesting minefield. Iris has discovered that speaking of some strange 'hate-love' to her enemies can make them uncomfortable. That or her brother Jordan has been telling lies. No enemies

LOVERS Iris has never really been interested in love, relationships or what sort of plumbing catches her eye. Though when she does find someone attractive, Iris tends to embarrass herself. Unsure on how to respond to these feelings, she'll resort to tossing things at people she likes to get their attention or shining light into their faces.   No lover(s)

Heeey, python! Welcome to hammel, and yaay, first post on your plot page!

I really like Iris! And I think I have a few people who I can throw at her, let me know if one(or many) fit your fancy?

Oriel - He's my precious baby and probably just as filthy minded as Iris. He'd enjoy a female banter buddy, someone to just be lewd with. Of course, that's if you catch him in the right mood, since he's an unpredictable character. He'd no doubt hit on her incessantly, though the rule with him is to not take any of it seriously.

Mei - Mei is a shy girl, loves video games, and loves horror. But she also comes from a very well-to-do family and doesn't take too well to vulgarity. An interaction between these two I can see going either way, with them being friendly or Mei finding Iris completely intolerable.

Gene - Eugene is my glowstick baby, with a twist on him so that it's his aura that glows. This is another wild card, as Gene really hates people, but the cruder they are, the more likely he is to interact with them. It helps that Iris is smoking hot too, as he's a classic video game nerd who thinks that that's how boob-physics should work.

Fancy - Fancy is the super pleasant, a-parent's-dream-come-true son, who is painfully oblivious when it comes to innuendos and other clever jokes. He could be insulted to his face and not realize it. I think it'd be amusing to pit these two together.

Right! There's also my newest bby, Sapphire. She classifies herself as 'one of the guys', so I think she and Iris would get along perfectly, to be honest. She's a few years older, though, so they wouldn't interact at Hammel unless Sapphire was there to see her baby sister, but I'm sure we'd be able to find other ways to stick them together.

I'd really like to roleplay with Mei and Gene (also Sapphire but it may be difficult because of the ages, like you said) because I think that could be fun!

Iris is known for being fairly boisterous so I think her encountering a wallflower like Mei could be interesting, it could go well or badly. She has no fear of strangers and would probably try to interact with her if Iris sees Mei on her own.

Gene because Iris knows a few things about video-games and, of course, boob physics. Also, they could meet in the guy's dorm since she would usually frequent there to visit her brother Jordan - who is a fan of all things 'nerd' - and to pester him into lending her his anime and manga.

Good, I was thinking this as well with those three.

I'm looking for someone for Mei to crush on too, and Iris seems like the kind of free spirit that she's gravitate towards, once they got to know each other better. So even if they have a rocky start it could change to Mei being more comfortable around her.

I love the idea of Gene and Iris. Unfortunately, Gene doesn't actually live in the dorms, he's a rich snob out in the high class neighborhood. However, he does have a few people he might try to visit in the dorms, though tbh, he's never been there so would be feeling very awkward and out of place, and when he's like that he gets a little hostile and snarky. And demanding.

Second, new idea for Gene! Jordan is very lazy and could be selling some of his old gaming things from his dorm room. Maybe Gene could come check out the sale and Iris could be helping her bro?

This could work only if there was the chance of obtaining collectibles. Gene is an avid collector of figurines, busts, etc from comic books, anime, and video games.

Lol, sounds good. If that was advertised in whatever notice Jordan gave to get people to come take his stuff, then Gene will try to brave the unknown of the boys' dormitory.

As for Mei, I've been wanting to do a thread for a while now of someone catching her singing when she thinks she's alone, like if she's cleaning the music room or someplace like that. How does that sound, too cliche? ;D

Hello, I was wondering if you'd like to possibly have a thread between Iris and my character Colton. Colton isn't much of a talker, and when he does he usually tries to speak as nicely as possible, so I think him meeting someone like Iris could be fun.
