Every town has their secrets...



In the small suburbs of Somerville, New Jersey, everything may seem normal on the outside. A cute town full of friendly folks... but oh how very wrong you are. The humans of this town have been telling a tale about these wolf-people for years now. It goes that hundreds of years ago these wolf-people were in a huge war in this very town... a fight against an evil that grew right under the humans noses. These dark people fed on the humans at night in form of something like a bat-creature. This constant battle between the forces was terrible... but the wolf-people did it to save the poor humans of their town.

They say one January morning, the never-ending war just stopped. The humans woke up one day to find these shifter had just vanished without a trace. Both the people with the skin of wolves, and those with the leathery wings of bats. They all seemed to die off. But now after years of a bloody war, the townspeople were finally safe. Of course no one in Somerville actually believes this old town legend, but rather they just use it as a camp fire story, or even a joke. It couldn't be true, could it?

Now teens of this mysterious town are now discovering their own secrets. Something deep inside them, awakened by the call of duty. These young adults are getting the ability to change, or rather, shift into a beast like no other. Fangs slide out, claws show, and fur covers them. Some become something that resembles a wolf; but there is no mistake they are much more advanced than that common canine. They are massive, around four feet tall and as wide as a small car. It’s clear how much stronger, faster, and smarter than any usual canine as well. These teens are shifters, the ones who have the blood from their ancestors…The same so called wolf-people who disappeared in the big battle years ago. But what called the sleeping wolf out from being dormant in their veins for so many years? If these saviors were returning to their townspeople... did that mean evil was stirring as well?
