Tactile Anesthesia
Jordan can put someone to sleep simply by touching them, its time range depends on how long he touches them. If his hand is on them always, then they shouldn't wake up or at least they'll remain in a fairly unresponsive state. If it's a brief touch of a few seconds, the sleep should last roughly five minutes.
If he doesn't mean to use his power, the most common side-effect is that they'll swoon, get dizzy or momentarily black out. Thankfully, Jordan's power side-effect doesn't usually affect others, just mostly himself. he quite often inadvertently puts himself to sleep, particularly during inopportune moments. Another side-effect is fatigue, which has made his previously lazy lifestyle even more so.
Dream Walking/Enhancement
Jordan also has the ability to project himself into the dreams of another and speak to the dreamer to a set degree. He has almost no control of what happens in the dream; though he can still move, think and speak as he normally would.
However it's a two-way road, properly trained people can access the thoughts and dreams of the character and others can wander into his dream by mistake. Jordan doesn't mind though since his dreams are usually pleasant. It can also cause poor sleep, though Jordan rarely experiences this; however, he can have a hangover-like headache in the mornings and experience very slight hallucinations during the moments of waking up. Also, Jordan cannot dream walk with strangers or acquaintances.; the only people he has been able to dream walk to is his siblings and a few friends.

General Appearance:
Jordan usually has a smile on his face, when he's fully awake that is; which is rarely. He has tanned skin, broken by moles here and there. His voice is fairly deep but very smooth, which is why he likes to read out loud sometimes. But only to himself! When around people other than his siblings, Jordan tends to remain quiet.
Standing at 6'3, Jordan is taller than most, including his siblings. Whether from his sleepy nature or diet, something made him sprout during his adolescent years. However, most don't notice his height since he usually stands slouched or leaning against on object. Or face down on the floor when his power side-effect kicks in. His build is skinny but surprisingly muscular; he was the best wrestler out of his family.
Jordan likes to wear three layers when outside his room for whatever reason. Usually its a white undershirt, a plaid shirt and a grey duffel coat. His jeans rarely change; a pale worn blue from overuse. He also likes knitted jumpers, the ones with the worst patterns are the best (his favorite has a black and white octopus on it).
Personality:
Easy-going, lazy, agreeable. It's easy to get frustrated with Jordan but its hard to stay mad at him too. Usually, he is quite mature but certain people can bring out a slightly childish side of him. He is shameless, though more in the do-what-he-wants way than anything lewd. He isn't brave but he doesn't seem to get scared. He won't go to the haunted house on his own accord but if he's asked to do it, then sure.
Jordan had always been lazy; even before his powers manifested, they merely made the laziness more potent. He struggles to stay awake and can drift into a doze without even realizing it.
Jordan loses interest in things very quickly, you need to be very blunt otherwise he will slowly start to drift away from the conversation. He is very generous to people he likes and people he hates, which causes more frustration to those around him. He has a trustworthy aura about him, making it easier for people to talk or rely on him. Jordan is dependable but can also be late on deadlines. He will always get the work done but maybe not as soon as you'd like.
Jordan will agree to whatever you say and agree to do whatever you want. Unless he doesn't want to or finds it stupid, at which point he'll agree but he won't actually do it. "Yep, I'll do just that." And then he ends up walking away and doing something completely different or the opposite of what you asked.
Although it is very difficult to get Jordan mad, if you physically hurt someone he loves; you'll find out that this slumbering student contains a nasty viscous streak and a strong right hook.Your VicesLikes:

The cats are his favourites.HistoryJordan is one of four siblings in the Applegate family; a member of the quadruplets. Before he and his siblings were born, his mother Elizabeth and his father Greg were struggling to have children. Since they desperately wanted to have little scamps running around, Elizabeth was prescribed with fertility drugs by her doctor which accidentally ended up with four infants. The pregnancy was worrisome since there was a risk of the children being stillborn or developing health problems. The birth was difficult and took over 24 hours; Elizabeth managed to survive exhausted but in fairly good shape for shoving out four babies. Jordan was the longest baby and was completely silent. The mid-wife was worried because he wasn't making any noises so she picked him up and tapped him on the rear; Jordan emitting a quiet grunt of protest declared himself alive and just as fine as his hollering sister and bawling brothers.
The toddler stage was difficult for the parents but thrilling for Jordan. When he was awake for it, that is. While Iris and Ryan were wandering around, getting into all sorts of mischief, Jayden and Jordan were usually left in each other's company; Jayden chewing on something inedible with Jordan snoring next to him. Although they did follow the other two on adventures, Jordan would usually get distracted by a comfy basket of laundry or a sunny spot on the living room carpet.
Middle school and high school were easier. The four were still very close and were fairly popular amongst the other kids since quadruplets were a rare occurrence. Whilst Iris was setting fire to tables, Ryan telling her off and Jayden sneaking snacks during classes, Jordan would usually be asleep or first emerging into the world of manga, anime and video-games. His sleeping habits annoyed the teachers but for some reason his grades were always just above acceptable so they didn't hassle him too much.
He never even knew about the darker side of anime until his sister wanted to search up an anime word she had heard and both their young innocent eyes were permanently scorched from their sockets. They never spoke of it again.
The four were always close, despite their differences. They argued and bickered, ranted and raged but they never hurt each other. That never changed, even after Iris manifested her light abilities and bioluminescense. Shortly after it was determined that Iris was to be sent to Hammel, the family decided to move house there as well. Jordan was a bit startled about this decision but he didn't really mind. Living near a super-power school could be interesting.
During the last month of the moving plan, Jordan manifested his own ability; Tactile Anethesia. At first, it seemed normal. Jordan had been a lazy person before his power manifested, due to the tiresome siblings he grew up with and force of habit, but the day it manifested; he struggled to get out of bed more than usual. Heading downstairs, Jordan gave his brother Jayden a friendly pat on the back. To which his brother responded to by falling head first onto the floor. It was scary but Jordan assumed it was a prank at first until he turned Jayden over and the boy was completely asleep.
Picking up his brother, Jordan carried him into the living room where Ryan and his dad were sitting; discussing plans for a study in the new house. Jayden was placed carefully onto the spare sofa, Ryan and Dad hurrying over with worried frowns on their faces. Jordan was freaking out and was trying to explain that he merely touched him when Jayden had seemingly fainted.
Ryan went to touch Jordan comfortingly on the shoulder when a similar effect happened. The boy staggered slightly before falling on his backside with a strangled snore. Now something was clearly up. Jordan's Dad lifted Ryan onto the sofa as well and the two asked the brothers what had happened. They both responded by saying they felt really woozy after Jordan touched them and then blacked out.
The same night this happened, Jordan fell asleep in his bed (as usual) but his dream was different. Now, Jordan had gotten used to lucid dreaming in his spare time but this was strange. It felt as if there were... doors in his dream that he couldn't get rid of or control. Curious, Jordan 'opened' one of these doors and stepped through. What he saw was terrifying.
It was a grassy hill, smothered in flowers. The edges were blurred and colour-less, he couldn't focus on them. That was not what was scary though. It turned out that this was Ryan's dream. And Ryan's dream-self was wearing a horrible pink tutu. Ryan's dream-self seemed to spot Jordan and actually danced over to him, singing 'Jingle Bells'. Of course, Jordan asked him "What the fuck was going on?" Ryan didn't answer, he simply giggled like a school girl and disappeared into the flowers.
After that, Jordan woke up with a horrible headache. With a grumble and a groan, he stumled to Ryan's room and slammed on the door. Ryan opened the door, with a similar sore look on his face. Exchanging hesitant words, Jordan asked if Ryan dreamed about him and they discussed what the dreams could mean before telling the others in the house.
Jordan was scared, worried and barely slept on his own accord or when the others were asleep until Hammel got in touch. They explained that Jordan had also manifested a power called Tactile Anesthesia as well as Dream Walking. Relief was the only thing Jordan felt; it meant that he wasn't hurting people, just making them fall asleep.
As his family moved into the three bed-roomed house in Pilot Ridge, Jordan decided to join his sister in the dorms. He thought it would be easier to be around other powered teens and he would learn to control his abilities more. Ryan and Jayden attended a human school but tried to hang around with Iris and Jordan at Hammel as much as possible.
Currently, Jordan has learnt to suppress his tactile anesthesia power but is still trying to control the effectiveness of it. Using his sister's dreams with her permission, he has also gotten better at manipulating dreams though his dream walking abilities were still limited. He is studying mostly art and creative writing in school but is faring well in his other subjects. The future doesn't interest Jordan much, despite its inevitability.
