Powers: Precognitive dreams/ daydreams.
Kessa is able to see the future in her dreams. The range of the future she see's, while still undetermined remains limited at this time from about two weeks to present.
However these are dreams and she is not in control of her ability yet, the images that she gets may be indistinguishable from a precognitive dream from just a dream.
When she sees the future while daydreaming, it's usually not a good thing and happens within an hour from seen. This type of vision causes her much pain and it looks like she is having a seizure.
She is unable to see her own future.
As with most precognitives migraines, confusion, blackouts, memory loss (rare), mood swings are always a concern.
She is also more open to psychic attacks then most precogtives of her level.

General Appearance:
Kessa is pretty much your average teenager with her light blonde hair reaching below her shoulder blades, most of the time she lets it just hang there other times its in a pony tail. They say that the eyes are windows to ones soul, then as you can see Kessa's soul is right there for everyone to see, her sensitive nature her compassion all there in her eyes, just look and you too will see it, those pale blue eyes, almost hypnotic. Her fair skin that doesn't tan but burns, her five foot two inch frame holds her weight of 110 with the grace of a ballet dancer, though she admits she rather weigh less then what she does now. She wears loose fitting clothes like jeans or sweats because she does not like the constricting feel of anything tight on her body. Often you will see her with her jean jacket and small blue book bag that doubles as a purse. With small feet she prefers hiking boots to sneakers or dress shoes. Jewelry? Other then stud earing's and a watch, no. Often times she goes without make up preferring to be all natural. Kessa has just her ears piercings, two in her left, one in her right, with the exception of a scar on her left shoulder from a bike accident, she has no tattoos to speak of here.
Personality:
Kessa is an ordinary girl with an extra ordinary gift to to see the future thru her dreams. If you look about this crowd here, you may pass her by, no she isn't in that prissy clique of pretty girls or even with the geeks with all the numbers, no there she is reading a scifi novel, her white wash jeans, light pink Tee shirt with denim jacket and hiking boots, her small blue book bag that is next to her as plays as her purse and is hardly ever seen without it.
Politics is one subject you don't want to talk about around Kessa as she hates it so much because of all the mud swinging in campaigns, the lies, the lack of empathy to the people as a whole, no not something she rather not speak of.
If you want to get on her good side, then ask her about synchronized swimming, one of her most favorite sports in the world. Where else can you have the grace of ballet, the strength of gymnastics and the power of speed swimming all in one? Kessa got hooked on the sport after seeing in on TV, since then it's one way she expresses herself. Have a bad day? She goes and swims it out and it helped her out with her scuba diving as well.
"Blame it on Sage!" Is what she will tell you how she became interested in this sport "It's all her fault" she teases. kessa free dives whenever she is at home, it helps her with her breath control. Scuba diving has given her an outlet to share her love of swimming with her sister and her best friend Sage. Even her parents have made some dives with her. After all where can one swim with the fishes and be part of the sea life down below?
If there was another animal that Kessa felt close too that would have to be horse's. Not only does her family have one but she enjoys showing them also. The connection that one needs to be with such an animal is amazing, they know fear, nervousness and confidence.
Now when we talk about animals you are talking about Kessa's favorite subject in the world. So many creatures that are alike yet different. So many characteristics, personalities in each and every creature from the ants to the birds, from the lion to the mice and everything lives within our world.
Kessa believes in good schooling, how else can one goto an Ivy League institution? She tends to be perfectionist even in the sports synchronized swimming, horse back riding and ballet. If she not working at school work you bet you can find her at one the sports she enjoys.
We can't end talking about Kessa if you don't know about what she does for fun now can we? Anything that had to do with water Kessa liked. One of her best friends- Sage got her hooked on scuba diving when her family invited her out on the boat, there first trip taking place at 10! Kessa and Sage have gone out for summer adventures ever since. Kessa also enjoys sci-fi movies, tv shows and books, and as a child she loved the TV series "Animorphs".Your Vices

History
It was a bright sun filled day that on May 4th,2001 Kessa came into the world to a very happy Mr. and Mrs. Westwood of Dayton, Ohio. She was born 27 days early and spent just over a month in the NICU until she was strong enough to go home. Her mother of course dotted over the new bundle of joy, making sure to show everyone pictures of the newest member of the family.
The youngest grew like a little weed and was always on the move, her sister even once used a dog leash to keep track of her! The active little one of course had her bumps and cuts like the time when she was six and was riding her bike with no hands down hill, well she really went head first into a tree and that got her a trip to the hospital in an ambulance and ten stitches in her shoulder. Seeing that her daughter needed a safer outlet for all her energy her mother signed her up for ballet and swimming lessons.
Kessa enjoyed both sports and her grades in school went up from B's to A's so her mother promised her horse back riding lessons if she could keep it up and she did. She loved the horse back riding lessons and would often beg her mother to bring her to the barn on Saturday mornings so she could muck the stalls and earn a free ride on the horse of her choice. It taught her Independence, hard work, and determination. However it was a synchronized swimming show at the swimming lessons that got her hooked into synchronized swimming.
When she was fourteen she started to suffer from migraines. Her mother brought her to the doctors who could not find anything to cause the migraines and sent them home with some medication. Unknowing to kessa and her family her ability was starting to slip into her life. Shortly after the migraines Kessa started to have strange dreams, because she was nervous about what her mother would think she never told her about them. Instead she wrote down her dreams in a diary. Kessa went about her life as normal until just after her 15 th birthday.
One night she had a really bad dream about a man kidnapping a child from a home and taking the child into the woods, keeping the child tied and gaged in a small hut like structure. The child's face was all she could see when she woke up covered in sweat. She wrote what she saw in the dream in the diary and nearly forgot about it like the other dreams. Kessa went down stairs for breakfast and was holding a glass of milk when on the TV a newscast came on about a kidnapping. She looked up at the TV and saw the child's face from her dream, the glass fell to the ground and it looked like she had seen a ghost. She started to say something about her dream before she calmed up. Her parents questioned her about the missing child and she broke down and told them about the dream, she even showed her diary to them.
Her worried parents brought her down to the police and while the police were doubtful about the information they went to the woods where Kessa had stated to them and found the child alive. She was questioned and released.
Thats when the FBI came calling after looking over photocopies of her diary. Three more cases were closed because of information she had. The FBI has never endorsed a 'psychic' yet sometimes uses the information they provide even thou most of the time the information is vague to say the least. Kessa's information though has such detail they couldn't deny her gift.
Kessa thou didn't think of the ability as a gift, it was more like a curse.
The same day the FBI came, someone from a school called "The Hammel Institute" came an offered her help with her ability.Roleplay Example

Sage embraced her mother tight as tears streamed down her face "Mom please" she whimpered into her ear as she continued to hold her mother tight. "We talked about this hun, it will be ok, you'll be ok, you'll meet new people and learn control of your ability" Her mother trying to peel her daughter off of her. "Yeah but...." Sage tried to protest. "No buts, we talked about this and your sister will join you when she shifts, now where that smile?" Her mother the word of reason in her life, her mother lifts her chin and smiles.
Sage smiles back and gives one more hug before going thru security at the airport, her mother, father and sister- Lee Anne watch on waving anytime she glaces over to them. Faintly smiling back as she looks at her ticket gate C10.
On the plane she watches as the ground disappears below her wondering what this new school will be like, what the people will be like, 'shifting' yeah learn to control it . . . her thoughts continued to swirl inside of her head as she falls asleep on this leg of the trip, only to be awoken when they reach the connecting location.
She glaces at her watch and notices she is late and has to run the rest of the way to catch the connector to Hawaii, she makes it just barely. She boards the plane exhausted and again falls asleep enroute.
Sage reaches the school safely, calling her mother who is clearly choked up at her daughters voice yet happy to hear her voice. Her mom again reassures her and Sage now is left alone in her room to unpack. The first she goes for is a teddy bear, worn, missing an eye with a hot pink ribbon that she had tied around its neck two years ago, she smells it and embraces it before placing it on the shelf as she continues to unpack.
Once done she goes to explore the campus, the warm air with hints of sea salt teasing her nose. The large trees that sway in the crisp breeze, and the green of the grass that is soft to the touch. 'REFRESHING!'
Clutching her small blue book bag to her side she starts to wander inside the buildings and comes across the library. In she goes, the cold air conditioning sends a chill down her back that she quickly dismisses as she walks the stacks looking at the books neatly sitting there on the shelfs, the different colors, sizes and lettering of each reminds her of the many types of animals in the world.
Sage's thoughts then turned to shifting, 'maybe they have something on the subject, they must?' Up and down she looked going the the alphabet carefully glazing each row for the subject.
As she was going thru the stacks she comes across a small girl, fragile looking almost sickly looking but something in her face, in her eyes more like it, made Sage stop, her head cocking to one side to observe the little one.
"Are you lost?" Sage asks the little girl before her, kneeing down to get to her level, looking her into her young grey blue eyes.What About You?
