Bunny was not having the best of times. For starters, the new medicine that her doctors had put her on a couple months ago, while seeming to keep some of her symptoms under control, had the unfortunate side effect of weight gain. She was still petite, but she'd bloated enough around her waist and bust that she'd had to adjust some of her dresses to fit her better. Her face has filled out a little too, which she tried to minimize as much as she could with makeup, but there was only so much that she could do.

There was a knock on the door, and Bunny looked up from the apples she'd been chopping to smile and skitter towards the sound. She flung open the door and flung herself into the (strong) arms of her friend Dev, super glad to have him over to keep her mind off of unhappy things. "Hi Devvy! Come in!" she chirped, waving him inside and shutting the door closed behind them. "I was just finishing a snack - you like apples and peanut butter, right?"
