Every couple weeks, there was a short break for whomever was on-call in the Infirmary in order for them to return things to various rooms about the school. Classrooms, labs, the main office (for the Lost and Found), and most importantly, the library. Hammel's library was only about the size of a normal school's, so every book mattered, and many often had long waiting lists for them. They couldn't just be left sitting unread for weeks on end.
Nik was on-call today, but still maintained a Spirit Week costume for the day. While she wasn't necessarily a "superhero", it wasn't really a far stretch to call her such. After all, a queen of the moon ought to have superpowers, too, right?
Because she needed something a little more professional for work, Nik folded a translucent silvery cloth about her shoulders as a shawl rather than wearing wings, and the cut of the dress was moderately (but noticeably) higher. The length of hair needed was much longer than her own, but it wasn't hard to find extensions and tie up her hair in the correct patterns. Honestly, it was a little silly, but it was so adorable seeing teenage girls croon and squeak at the fact that they had one of the more iconic characters in anime wandering through their midst.
Dropping off the books with the assistant librarian, Nik turned to leave and bumped squarely into someone else. Stepping back suddenly tangled her feet in the fluttery material, and with a small yelp, the albino was seated firmly on the floor, twisted up in white fabric.
"Oof," she breathed, shaking her head and looking to the person she'd bumped into. "I'm sorry; I wasn't paying attention. Are you all right?"
