The Basics
Name: Bailey Fisher
Nicknames: Bails, Bo-peep (Don't call her this)
Age: 19
Orientation: Undecided
Desired Rank/Job: Vermont College Student
Powers: Illusions
Bailey has the ability to create illusions. She can create an army of tiny spiders, or make up an entire fake person, along with imitate sounds. The more detailed and larger an illusion is, the harder it is for her to maintain. If she tries to recreate a person, she also has to know or memorize their features and voice. This can create small errors in the illusion that will give them away. The illusions are also not physical, so they can be passed through like air. She runs the risk of passing out or developing a persistent hangover-like headache if she tries making an illusion too large, too detailed, or maintains it for too long. Other side effects include shaking, sweating, and dizziness.

General Appearance: Bailey has long, wavy blond hair that falls past her shoulders. The waves in her hair are natural and she doesn't do a thing to help or hinder them. From time to time it can even get curly on its own, most commonly after running through the rain. Normally, her hair is controlled in a braid or ponytail but she will sometimes let it down when she's relaxing. Her skin is naturally very pale, but from her constant time spent in the sun she has something of a permanent farmer's tan.
As for Bailey's wardrobe, the bulk of it comes down to flannel, denim, and leather. Jeans are her "go-to" to wear and she's rarely ever seen in any other type of pants. When it comes to shirts, she likes keeping it simple but fun. Most often she'll sport a long-sleeve flannel shirt rolled up to her elbows with a beater underneath. Other times she'll sport a plain or funny tank top depending on her mood. Blue is consistently in her outfits and makes her eyes pop. Her jacket of choice is always one of her leather ones that have clearly gotten a lot of love and care. To finish it off she usually wears some form of boot, typically leather. Her closet is devoid of skirts and dresses except for the one token dress for extremely fancy events. She finds the clothing annoying and impractical for her kind of life style.
Personality: Bailey is smart enough to pass most people by. She has a large amount of common sense and rationality to reason most things out. A lot of this she applies to other people and their behaviors. She can deduce a person's motivations for an action and often, if not approve, understand their reasoning. But she also has a sharp tongue that can abuse this understanding. She is blunt and straightforward with both her words and feelings. How she feels about a person will be both evident in her mood and dialogue. While she can easily clear up misunderstandings, she can hurt people's feelings too. Anger isn't a foreign concept to her, and she expresses the emotion just as easily as she does the rest. She would rather let it out instead of bottle it up until it turned into rage.
She is relatively laid back in most of her day-to-day tasks. She approaches things with determination and consistent progress rather than spontaneous high energy. She can get worked up or show patience depending on the subject, as she's more likely to take the route that will get her a result. Laughter is a common part of her life and she does it very often. Her humor can range from the light and kindhearted to the dark and detrimental. No matter which, a smirk is almost always the outcome.
She can be easy to walk up to, but hard to walk away from with anything personal of hers. She isn't afraid to express how she feels, but can have trouble voicing the reason behind them. In the rare case of being sad, she will shut off entirely from the outside world until it passes and she deals with it herself. She's simple to get to know, but hard to understand at times. Once someone gets her to truly open up and knows who she is, friendship is easy.

History
Born and raised in Damascus, Virginia, Bailey led a relatively normal and simple life with her family. She wasn't directly in the town; her family farmed so she was located a little ways away from the main core. It was still an easy walk for her to get places and the short distance meant she could be with her friends. She loved Damascus for its trails mainly, which she often dragged her brothers on even at a younger age. If she wasn't out and about, she was helping her parents around the farm.
Much of who she is was shaped by her brothers. She had to be assertive to get what she wanted, and blunt to get her point across. There was no room for her to be shy when she had four boys to deal with. She became the rough and tough girl she had to be in order to keep up with them. From the outside looking in it didn't look like the greatest of sibling relationships, but she can only look fondly on the time spent with her brothers. Even if it was only one of them, she was rarely ever separated from them.
When high school came, Bailey barely changed. She lost much of the recklessness that came with being a child, but otherwise retained the core of her personality. She was still strong willed and straightforward with her personality; not to mention down-to-earth and tomboyish. Bailey threw herself into sports with gusto, and would face her brothers and their friends in football. Academics weren't a struggle, but she never cared enough to really apply herself. She was smart enough to fly through the classes with ease, but it was like she was running her fingers along the surface of water. She knew what she wanted to be so she wasn't going to concern herself with anything extra. The few subjects she liked she dedicated herself to, but those were few and far between.
It was during her last year while she was 14 that she manifested. She had been sitting in class on the last day of school waiting for the bell to ring. She had been staring at the clock, desperately wanting for it to be over so she could drive home. To her surprise, it rang about fifteen minutes early. The rest of her classmates heard it too; it was odd but they weren't about to argue against it. Bailey ran out the door and drove off with her brother in his truck as fast as possible without getting a ticket. She thought nothing of it until a while later when the recruiters showed up.
Convincing her and her family was not an easy task, but after an example it became easier to see. That didn't mean it made leaving much better though. She was extremely reluctant to leave her family behind, especially her brothers. It seemed like her whole life was falling apart right before her eyes, so she did what was natural to her: fight. Eventually her parents decided it would be good for her to go after her birthday. She wasn't happy with the agreement, but it gave her more time to spend with her family before saying goodbye.
When it was time she went to Hammel. She wasn't nervous about going to a new school; she was more annoyed at the move than anything. Over time her ire went down as she made a pocket full of new friends she could hang out with. It made things smoother, especially since she kept in contact with her brothers back home. When her first year ended, she decided going back wouldn't be so bad after all. Over the course of four years, she learned to control her power and finish high school. Her resentment completely faded and she grew a bit calmer and even a little nicer over the years. When graduation came, she decided to take a chance and go to the university in Vermont. She figured she might as well get university out of the way while she was there.
Roleplay Example
Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Her brothers did not have the lightest of footsteps, which was why she woke up before they even reached her room. With a scowl and a snarl, she grabbed a pillow and flung it across the room towards the door just as it opened. Judging by sound alone, she'd hit her mark. The glare she threw quieted any protest or message her brother meant to convey. He'd done his part.
She was awake.
With the door once again shut, she quickly dressed and prepared. The flight down to the kitchen was swift, and she stole her favorite seat before someone else got the idea. Mornings in the Fisher house were usually energetic by nature. There was chatting, laughing, joking, and one slap to prevent plate robbing. It was a typical morning that soon had her brightening up and feeling refueled.
Which was what she would need when a familiar hand snatched up the wrong set of keys and took off out the door. Her response was immediate. "Josh don't you dare drive my truck!" With a snap and growl, she picked up her backpack mid sprint to chase after her younger brother. He made the one mistake of looking back when the sound of angry footsteps got close.
She ended up driving while he was still getting the dirt off his shirt.
