PLAYER WANTS
What is your plotting philosophy?
I am open and flexible to different styles on setting up a premise, but I do want communication. Whether that means agreeing to just jump straight into the fire blind and seeing what happens or planning a general idea and heading out.
The exception to this is romance as stated in my limits.
What types of plots are you interested in playing?
I prefer a balance in most things. So, in writing I like a combination of ridiculous comedic hijinks and pushing characters with challenges (mental, emotional or physical). I'm pretty open, I just want any partner and I to come away from the thread with something, be it a building of relationships, character, or something completely unexpected.
Some things I particularly love are:
-characters older than mine having a protective older-sibling-like relationship, similarly characters who are younger than mine having a younger-sibling-I-need-to-protect relationship,
-competing rivals that have a mutual respect for each other/aren't contently mean to each other
-friends who seem like opposites
-friends awkwardly skirting around romantic feelings for each other
-academic one and one that's so dumb they took pity on them
-scaredy-cat and someone who constantly freaks them out with fake paranormal nonsense
What types of plots are you not interested in playing?
Violence, playing a bully or bullying victim/abuser or victim, anything to do with serious or life-threatening illness
How often can you reply to any given thread?
Once a week is my current usual. Might change when school starts, but i'll update this and if i have any absence stuff.
What is the longest you're willing to wait for a reply to a thread?
Two weeks
Are you open to RPing over instant messengers? If so, what's the best way to contact you and what times are you generally available?
Never done that before, but sure. My chatango is erisantic and my schedule fluctuates so we'd have to set up a time before hand.
Are you open to post volleying?
No, I like to plan out my posts and edit because I'm hella insecure.
Anything else?
naw.
PLAYER LIMITS
What are you limits regarding powerplay/godmoding?
I want to be able to react. I'd prefer if the partner has their character state the intention and beginning motion:
Eris swung her arm up to punch her in the face.
Eris leaned forward to kiss her.
It's nice to have the post end there and my character can then respond to the action.
What are your limits in regards to romantic situations?
Ah, romance. I prefer to plan some things ahead(Is it mutual? Infatuation, legitimate love/budding love, or a wombo combo of both?) Also for romance there is the questions down the line (Break up or stay together? On and off relationship or completely one way? Bad break up or still friends?)
I'd rather have some pre-plotted relationship points like the above and any other major changes to be communicate about before they happen IC.
Open to any ideas and suggestions as long as I still get say over my own characters feelings and actions.
What are your limits in regards to sex (within the TOS)?
I'd like to avoid anything heavier that kisses and getting slightly handsy above the waist.
What are your limits in regards to violent scenes (within the TOS)?
I prefer nothing so violent that it would have to fade to black. I'd much rather just have it be limited to one punch/slap/kick and one possible retaliation by the other character and only if it fits the situation.
What are your limits in regards to abuse/rape in plots?
Not comfortable with anything except from the other character's past. I personally do not play abuse victims or abusers.
Anything else?
Just want to put emphasis on the fact that I don't want to play anything to do with serious/life-threatening illness, it's probably my hardest boundary.
Other then that I hope to have fun!
