General Appearance:
Ash tries to look her best at all times, whether she is wearing jeans and a t-shirt or a designer dress. Like her twin she keeps her hair long and it's natural color. Have you ever tried dying 'ethnic' hair? It doesn't work well. Though unlike her sister she believes simple is better. If her hair is done in any fancy way you can blame Ally not Ash.

Ash is lucky enough to be blessed with nearly perfect skin. She almost never wears makeup. Every now and then she wears some eye shadow mascara and some clear lip gloss.

Ash and Ally share most of their wardrobes, what differs is how they use the clothing. Ash likes simplicity and elegance in her clothing. Her sister's love of accessories boggle her mind. You might find her in a pair of earrings and a necklace, but nothing more than that.

Personality:

Some might say that Ash is the exact opposite of her twin sister, but that isn't true. More like they balance each other. Ash is the moral compass of the two. If it were left up to Ally they would have landed in jail a long time ago. She is a voice of reason in almost all situations. You would be too if you had Allyson as a twin.

Ashleigh cares a great deal about her school work, studying late into the night most nights. She has A's in almost all her classes Math she is struggling in and has a C+. That one grade makes her so mad but it seems no matter how much she studies that dang grade will not go up.

Ash enjoys her power. She likes to learn what is like to use all different kinds of power. Her favorite so far has been taking on power suppression. It was great fun to take Allyson's power, though Ally had gotten her back for that one.

Ally may be the mastermind behind their mischief but Ash was the one who got them out of whatever trouble they found themselves in. She is extremely protective of her sister. Since the age of 6 Ashleigh had been taking karate lessons while her sister took dance. The skills Ash learned over the years in self defense had saved the girls a couple of times through the years.

History

On June 5th 1994 at 3:23 in the morning Ashleigh Rose Cruz entered the world, at 3:45 her twin sister Allyson Rose followed her.. The girls had happy normal happy childhood. At age 6 Ashleigh began taking lessons in karate, she insists to this day her Dad was trying to turn her into a tom boy. Instead of hating it like she thought she would, Ashleigh loved the sport. Ashleigh was well on her way to being a normal content child. That was until the age of eight. At eight years old Ashleigh became very sick, she spent weeks in the hospital an infection was to blame and it was destroying her kidneys. So at the tender age of eight Ashleigh went under the knife for major surgery. Her kidney donor was her twin sister. Ashleigh came very close to dying and Alyson saved her life, something that they were both very aware of at the time. The surgery left them both with large scars on their left sides. Ashleigh isn't embarrassed by her scar in the least she wears it as a badge of honor most days.

Ashleigh and Allyson grew up knowing their parents were special and not like other parents. They could do things other parents couldn't. Both girls longed for the day when they too could wield such fun powers. At 13 they got their wish. As it should be the eldest came into her powers first. After giving her mother a hug Ashleigh began to float away, she felt lighter than air. Ashleigh was glad to have inherited her mom's power she really didn't want to learn how to control parts of her body when they weren't actually attached to her. She was disappointed when she could not float for long, but she knew she would need training to be able to maintain any kind of different density. Ally soon gained her power too, but unlike Ashleigh Ally had inherited their father's power.

Once a recruiter should up to their home their happiness was a dashed, they had not inherited their powers from their parents. No they had received a different, the same power actually, they were able to mimic any power that they came in physical contact with. Ashleigh was actually quite disappointed, she liked the idea of having a different power then her sister especially if it was from their mother. She was a Daddy's girl but like the idea of having some in common with her mother, something they could bond over. The girls were excited to be heading off to Hammel, they had heard hundreds of stories from their parents about their time there and the girls couldn't wait to make their own memories.

Ashleigh thrived at Hammel, she loved learning and training. If she had left it up to Ally they would be living in the same room and taking all the same classes. Her preference would have been to not have classes together or live together. Instead they compromised. They would live together (that way their wardrobe wasn't cut in half) but they would not take classes together unless they had to. Ashleigh wanted to make sure people knew that she was not her sister, that she was her own person.

While at Hammel Allyson's love of mischief caused the girls to get into all kind of interesting situations. Ashleigh went along with a great deal of her crazy ideas, if for no other reason but in hope that she could keep them out of any real danger or real trouble. It didn't always work.

Ashleigh has been at Hammel for three years and loved it all. She has made many friends, even had a boyfriend for a short time, he really didn't like when she mimic his power. Ashleigh has lead a normal (well normal for a Hammel student) life, filled with ups and downs but mostly ups.
