General Appearance:
Anna is always really noticed because she’s pretty short. 5”1’ to be exact. She’s often seen wearing boots and high heels to give her just a little bit of height. She’s pretty thin, but not to the point you should be worried thin.
She has a thing for vintage clothes and makeup. Meaning that she’ll often be seen in clothes that are mixed from different eras, for example she’s been known to wear a fifties style skirt with a shirt you’d see from the ninties. Her makeup is usually black eyeliner and bright lipstick. She’s not really for neutral makeup.
Though she does care about her makeup and her clothes her hair usually looks a mess, she likes that style and will often make sure it looks a mess as her style. She also has pretty pale skin which contrasts to her dark skin.
Personality:
She’s a pretty bubbly person most of the time, if she’s had a good sleep you’ll see her smiling and happy, finding something good in any situation. Unfortunately this doesn’t always work, especially if she’s had a bad sleep, where she will literally be grouchy and slightly bitchy. She’s also been known to have a bad temper when provoked.
She’s shy when she doesn’t know you. It’s part of her nature, she likes her space and will be wary of you for a while, but once she gets to know you she’ll open up and be very bubbly and sweet to you.
Anna has been known as one of the more innocent people. She doesn’t enjoy being in a conversation about anything ‘dirty’, so when anything to do with sex or things like that comes up she’ll blush and walk away or start focusing on something else.

History
Annaleigh was born into the care of Henry and Amelia Johnson, who weren’t the nicest people to have as your parents. From the day she was born she was neglected. When she wasn’t being neglected they were complaining about her. From birth her father would always complain that he wanted a boy, though at this point they weren’t abusive.
She was a slow learner because the only things that she was taught from birth was that she was a nuisance. Pushing her aside for everything Anna didn’t speak much and became very reserved. Often her parents would leave her while she was crying in the night so Anna didn’t have a very good home life from the start.
By her third birthday she’d learnt to keep quiet around her parents, and didn’t ask many questions. Though they never actually hit her, they had been known to verbally abuse her and threaten her. If they ever had friends over she’d be made to stay up in a room by herself, not allowed to come out for any reason.
By the time she was five her father was starting to physically abuse her, slapping her around a bit. He did it mostly because he drank and Anna learnt to take it to keep it from getting too bad.
Her father and mother became more abusive as time went on, though it was her father who was the most abusive, sometimes her mother would spit at her or something similar. Anna learnt to keep the tears to herself until she was away from them.
On her eighth birthday she was pushed down a flight of stone steps and ended up running away from her parents, too scared to go back to them. She ran until she couldn’t run anymore. She ended up passing out in a park where she was found by Colin and Stacy Valentine. They saw how badly hurt she was and took her in.
After waking up in their home she was a bit wary of them at first, not speaking to them but letting them help her. After a couple of days she began to warm up to them and explained why she had passed out in the park. They instantly went around seeing how they could adopt her since they couldn’t have children themselves.
Anna began to open up a lot and began to learn things properly. She became quite a bubbly person to people she knew and was always kind and respectful even if a bit wary of new people. By the age of ten she was almost a normal child, though she would have pretty bad nightmares about her past still.
On her twelfth birthday she had a very strange dream, where she was watching one of Colin’s dreams where he was there with a son. Anna had always known her adoptive father wanted a son but couldn’t understand why she was dreaming about it. When she explained the dream to him, he was shocked seeing as he’d had the same dream.
This happened a few more times and it began to scare Anna. She began trying to stop sleeping for hours at a time to make sure she didn’t intrude on other people’s dreams. But she couldn’t last for long.
After a couple of months of this she was found and taken to Hammel. She was instantly wary of everything and just wanted to go back to her adoptive family but knew she couldn’t. Finding her ability to be more of a curse than anything else, Anna tried to ignore it, loading herself up with anything to do with caffeine she tried her hardest not to get much sleep. Unfortunately it often left her very grouchy. She’s still trying to ignore her power over trying to master it, which is why she’s still at Hammel.

Ezmeral was in the kitchen rereading a book she had to read for class. Chewing a piece of gum as she did it she didn’t think her brother would be coming into the kitchen, especially since he hated her. So she decided to do all her homework. Of course Ezzy wasn’t hunched over a book at the kitchen table, she had her feet up on the table as she lounged in the chair. Ezzy found it easier to study at home when she was comfortable. Of course in class she’d never even think about putting her feet up to learn.
The problem was that Ezzy wasn’t bothered if she seemed like a bit of a geek when it came to classes because she wanted to stay out of trouble. With what had happened in Germany, Ezzy had decided that she had to keep herself out of trouble and work as hard as possible. She didn’t want to disappoint them again like she had previously. Though she regretted it entirely she knew that she wasn’t paying for it half as much as her parents were. It was at this time when Ezzy decided that she was going to give up her old ways and focus completely on what they had asked of her.
It wasn’t hard for Ezzy to throw herself into her studies, in fact she loved learning all about all of this, and because she had deadlines to meet made it a completely different style of learning than she was used to. Plus being taught everything in a compact time of only an hour or so made Ezmeral force herself to concentrate and usually she took many notes that others didn’t take. It was interesting to see how many people were surprised to see how much she’d learnt.
After a week of classes Ezmeral had realised how many people didn’t actually care about lessons and it had shocked her. Of course she’d visited America before and she’d loved it, but she had always been around very educated people who went to respectable schools and had been brought up with ambitions where they needed to know a lot of information and studied hard. Here a lot of people didn’t really care. It was surprising at first but it didn’t knock Ezzy off her obsession with trying to keep her studying her main priority. She just made sure to keep away from some of the people who she knew were more interested in having a good time over studying.
So she sat there and continued with her rereading of the book, making sure that all the information from the book was going into her head. Though she was usually very good at processing information she always made sure that she read through it more than once so that she knew completely what it meant. By doing this Ezzy knew that she knew everything she needed to over just barely knowing it. After all she wanted to get the highest grades she could when it came to her tests.
