Nicknames: Just Trevor. Or Trev, I guess.
Age: Sixteen-almost-seventeen.
Orientation: Heterosexual.
Desired Rank/Job: Student.
Powers: Trevor can shapeshift into any mammal he chooses, as long as he has seen it once before in person. His favorite animal of choice is a red fox.
Play By: Robbie Wadge
The Details
Hair Color: Naturally has dark brown hair, but has before dyed his hair blonde.
Eye Color: Green and sometimes blue depending on the lighting.
Any Piercings? He has his left ear pierced.
Any Tattoos? He has a cross with a rose in the middle underneath his right forearm.
Any Scars? His wrists bare scars from when he was twelve and thirteen, and his back does as well from a lot of fights.
General Appearance: Trevor holds a boyish charm about himself that is unusual for a sixteen-almost-seventeen year old boy. He's rather good looking if you can get past his general awkwardness. He has a bit of a mixed clothing style. Some days he's comfortable wearing jeans and a simple tee-shirt, while other days he sports a polo shirt and khaki pants. Other days, he'll go without any clothes at all, walking around his home in boxers. His body type tends to look scrawny while clothed, but if you were to ever see him with his shirt off, you'd notice that his muscles were only hiding. And he has a six pack to prove it.
Personality: Trevor's main purpose in life is to impress, and it doesn't matter who he's impressing. He's just trying to impress everyone. He wants to be popular and well-liked, so he's easily swayed by others' opinions. Even if he does have a mind and opinions of his own, he won't show them if they're in contrary to someone else's. Really, this guy just goes with the flow whether he likes it or not. He doesn't have much of a tough guy interior, in fact one could call him metrosexual if they wanted to. Because of this, he tends to have more girl friends than guy friends, but none of his girl friends are attracted to him, so he loses. Trevor has a deep love for the wilderness and all things nature, and perhaps this is easily influenced by his shapeshifting ability.
He's sort of shy, but not really. It would have to be described as more awkward than anything. He rarely knows the right things to say or do, so he just follows the crowd. Despite this, he knows a stupid person or situation when he sees one, and that is probably the only time he'll speak his mind and say "this is stupid". This also has to do with the fact that he has zero tolerance for genuine stupidity. When he's with friends he knows well, he acts stupid himself, and is said to be somewhat of a risk taker. Trevor has a love for travel, and has been to many different countries because he and his father share that one trait.
Trevor has a love for all different kinds of physical activities. As for the normal ones, he appreciates football (or if you're American, soccer) and dance. But he also participates in high risk activities such as rock climbing and sky diving.
Your Vices
Likes: Sports (rock climbing and skydiving especially), nature, pizza, old cartoons, bad jokes, movies, art, travel, girls, cooking, using his power to make friends, etc.
Dislikes: A lot about himself (he's self-conscious), bugs (he's afraid leave him alone ok), frogs (they jump), immaturity, high school, idiots, bullies, fat people who wear tight clothing, homophobes, chocolate, smoking (because he is a smoker), etc.
Strengths: He has a lot of common sense, and is both book smart and street smart. He's good at sports. He's good at cooking. He's good with numbers, even if he doesn't particularly like math. Because of his powers, he has acute senses from his animal counterparts.
Weaknesses: He gets a lot of nightmares, and freaks the fuck out - more of a flaw than a weakness. He gets nervous and awkward around other people. He bites off more than he can chew. He's uncomfortable with himself, and tries to change for the sake of other people. Smoking - he wants to quit but he can't.
Fears: Bugs and frogs; the only part of nature he doesn't like and is afraid of. Certain bugs are alright, but if they jump, get him the hell outta there. He's afraid that he'll never amount to anything because he doesn't know how to get himself going or if he's even good enough.
Secret: Nobody knows about his changing of personalities, or that the "opinions" he voices are not really his own.
Family Ties
Father: Mehdi Touraj Tabassi
Mother: Tamara "Tammy" June White
Siblings: Colton White - little brother, 9. Alice White - little sister, 13. Grace White - little sister, 15.
Any Other Important People: All of his family are allergic to pets except for him. Go figure. He did have a goldfish once, though, but he forgot to feed it so there went the goldfish. He has a step-father who he calls dad, and his name is Steven Alan White; he practically raised him.
History
Trevor's from London; that's in England if you didn't know. Which means that yes, he does happen to have an accent, as does the rest of his families. Trevor has two families; one that consists of his mother, step-father, and siblings (who are technically half-siblings, but their bond is nothing less than sibling), and the other on his real father's side.
When his mother was eighteen, she married straight out of high school to a vile man whom she thought she was in love with. Of course, he hadn't acted like the malicious bastard he truly was. Trevor's father is a Persian Muslim, and in his religion, he truly believed that once you were married, the wife was man's property. His mother, Tammy, was a firm believer in women's rights, so you can believe how hard she fought her husband. She had been afraid to leave him, especially considering she had a child with him: Trevor Tabassi.
The household was extremely violent because of Mehdi. Tammy was constantly beat and threatened that if she ever left, he'd kill her. Mehdi never laid a hand on his son, though, whom he loved to pieces no matter how much he scared him. Trevor barely remembers this time, but it had been enough to scar him for life. When he was five years old, his mother ran away with him to a battered women's facility. They were there for two days, and because of this, Trevor often described himself as once being homeless. After that, they ran to his grandmother's home, Tammy's mother, and stayed there for years.
A year later, the divorce had gone through and Mehdi was thrown in jail for domestic violence, rape, and several other charges unrelated to Tammy and Trevor.
Trevor's mother met Steven, who then became his step-dad and the father of Trevor's three little half-siblings. Mehdi was out of his life for a little while, and in all honesty, he then began to live a very comfy life. Never once had he gone without food, clothing, or a family to love unless he went over to his father's house (Mehdi had been released from jail, mind you). Only every once in a while did he decide he wanted to go there, considering he was pretty much ignored every time. But despite all of the nasty things his father did, Trevor always loved him and his many half-siblings on his father's side. You couldn't stop loving blood. He just happened to love his other family a lot more.
At around thirteen was when his powers began to set in, as well as his depression. He was confused and felt very unloved. Trevor felt so different from his family. The powers came from his real father's side, and no one else in his family had something wrong with them. Whenever he was around, his family even began to have allergic reactions. Because of this confusing and unsettling time in his life, he resorted to cutting himself. As stupid as it was, he still bares the scars as a constant reminder.
Once his family realized he was a meta-human, they just wanted the power to disappear. At this time, he didn't have any idea how to control his power; he'd shift and "un-shift" against his will, sometimes at the worst of moments. Because of this, he had attended the Kocher school in Switzerland and learned to basically control his power, but there were still some things he hadn't quite grasped at that school. Things such as shifting into anything other than a fox, which he was perfectly capable of if he learned how. No matter how many training lessons he went to at Kocher, he couldn't grasp the concept. So he then had to advance to the close ally of Kocher, The Hammel Institute, at age fifteen. And he has been here ever since. It is unknown if his sisters will ever get powers; Tammy has no known meta-human relatives, but Steven had been adopted so they aren't sure if it could be a recessive gene in his lineage.
Roleplay Example
Jayden’s anger was at its highest peak since everything in his life turned to shit. That would be a year ago when his mom died in a car accident; a long time to be that angry, huh? But, as always, he would suck it up and take the blows while secretly writing lyrics. It was his only outlet in this life. Some people took their anger out through closed fists pounding down on flesh. Others harmed themselves, leaving scars all over their body to be a constant reminder of their fury. He, however, preferred to scratch rhythmic words in a journal to let all of his pointless emotions out, like anger, sadness, love. Oh, how he loathed the word “love.” It just reminded him that the closer you got to someone the easier you could get hurt. But, as always, he always went crawling back to the ones he loved. For example, his brothers. A brother’s bond is one of the most confusing and tightest wound relationships. They constantly beat him to the ground for a good laugh. And, yet, he kept acting like he worshipped the ground they fucking walked on until recently when Parker showed up and criticized him about getting Luna pregnant and keeping his baby. The last words he had said to his brother were “I hate you.” Then, Parker’s life flickered and went out while a bad case of déjà vu washed over Jayden. His brother had died in a car accident, just like his mother. It had been the first time he allowed himself to cry in front of someone, Luna. He denied ever tearing up, though. To make it worse, instead of his own girlfriend offering the sympathy he needed the day Parker’s car went up in flames with Parker inside, she had told him she cheated on him with his good friend, Zach Baldwin. Well, fuck. Emotions really are pointless illusions of the mind. All they do is leave you battered and broken in the end.
So now maybe you’ll understand why he could ever find a friend in someone like Thomas Barker. Tommy had proved to be loyal, and there didn’t seem to be any way he could backstab him any time soon. Besides, Bridget deserved to have the thing she cared for most taken away from her (the candy store, Swatch). She would suffer like he had. Well, not nearly as much as he had for she was lucky the only things she lost were material things. Besides, she was a rich bitch. He was sure that she had a bank account flooding with dollar bills and could just buy her way out of this little problem of hers. Lucky for her, she could just buy Swatch back. No amount of money could ever bring his mom or Parker back to him. So, his sympathy for Bridget was… barely there, if he could feel any sympathy for her at all right now.
The sound of buzzing came from his nightstand and he glanced over to see his cell phone vibrating, indicating a new text message. He looked curiously at it and flipped the front cover open. It was unlikely he’d reply to whoever it was, but he usually always read his messages. People always got annoyed at him for that. He scanned over the message before closing it and slipping it inside the pocket of his jeans. Jayden grabbed his black Zoo York sneakers and slipped them on, then tied the laces. He stood up and grabbed his very personal journal out of many, containing enough lyrics to fill ten music albums. Of course, Liam had gone through this very personal journal. That boy didn’t know boundaries. So, to avoid it again, he stuck it in his night table’s drawer under some other miscellaneous items (cigarettes, lighters, condoms, etc.) At least he could be comforted knowing that his roommate wouldn’t be going through that drawer.
Loud impact was heard as he exited the Esperer Heights Academy building and he immediately noticed the car wreck. His eyes went wide at the damage and he began to jog toward it, wondering what had happened. But when he also noticed Tommy at the scene of the crime telling him to get in the car, it didn’t take long for Jayden to put the pieces together himself. It also made even more sense when he peeked inside the wrecked cars to see, and recognized the teens as Shawn Woodcrest and Salva Marciano. He jumped into Tommy’s car and he even started driving before he closed the door. Jayden slammed it shut and quickly buckled himself as they raced toward Fifth Avenue. The hell was happening? He would have asked for an explanation, but he was pretty sure he already knew. And if Tommy decided to be unpredictable, it would all unravel soon anyway though, right? Clearly his friend was out for revenge, by the look at the car wreck they were quickly leaving behind.
They stopped in front of a wealthy looking house and he squinted to make out the letters on the mailbox in the dark. It read “GEERT.” Well, this was going to be some serious revenge, that was for sure. Would Tommy burn down the house just like he had mercilessly burned down Swatch and expect Jayden to pipe down about it? Of course, Jayden wouldn’t breathe a word of it to anyone, because the thing he hated most was when friends or other people you cared about didn’t have your back and were disloyal. He hated that more than anything else. Maybe because that was what always seemed to happen to him in the past, who knows. When the car was parked, he unbuckled and got out of the car, following Tommy to the trunk. Three bright red gasoline cans were in the back. He glanced at Tommy and saw him put his hood up, so he did the same. Just as he suspected, Tommy was going to burn down the Geert home. What he hadn’t expected was that he would be helping, but he would enjoy this revenge. Sometimes it was scary how much Tommy knew about him. Or, maybe the two were just so alike that they could predict each other’s actions. Tommy would know Jayden would want to help, so there was a third one, just for him. He picked it up and followed his friend toward the house, being extra careful to make sure his face was hidden by his hood and the shadows of night.
When Tommy said “have fun”, he smirked and took that as his cue to get started. Jayden popped the top off the gasoline can he had and went in the opposite direction, away from Tommy and toward the back of the house. He made sure to cover everything in the backyard with gasoline as well, and making a trail to the house with it. Jayden noticed an open window and slyly looked inside before dumping some gasoline inside on the polished wooden floors. The adrenaline inside him was pumping. Being a vanilla, he had done some bad things before, but never had he done something this risky. When the gas can emptied out, he walked to the front of the building and searched for Tommy. He was told to go to the car, and so he did; the side of him that hated being told what to do wouldn’t rebel against Tommy at a time like this. They needed to listen to each other to avoid being caught in the fire. The two were playing with something much bigger than them.
Jayden made himself comfortable in the passenger’s seat, putting his feet up on the dashboard and watching it all unfold. His eyes scoured the area for Tommy to watch what he was doing. It took him a while to find him; he was wearing dark clothing that blended in with everything else. But once the first bit of Bridget’s house caught fire, he could find Tommy and follow what he was doing. The flames danced in front of his eyes and this was probably the most sick and thrilling feeling he’d ever felt. How much evidence would be left behind when things could be looked at more carefully in the daylight? Was Bridget inside the house? It seemed just as the flame grew, so did the amount of questions he’d never ask.
When Tommy came back in the car, Jayden buckled up again without taking his eyes off the burning building that seemed to crumble before his very eyes. Even as they began driving away and their backs were faced away from the destruction they had caused, his eyes were trained on the rearview mirror. Even when they were far from the site, his mind’s eye held the image for a long, long time. ”Damn,” That was the best thing he could muster up.
