The Basics
Name: Landom Jackson
Nicknames: Nope, but people can feel free to find one for him
Age: 33
Orientation: Heterosexual
Desired Rank/Job: Trainer
Powers: Telekinesis with a 20 lb weight limit
Play By: Cliff Lee
The Details
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Any Piercings? No
Any Tattoos? No
Any Scars? A 2 inch scar along his left arm from before he could control his powers and he made a vase fall, and one the pieces sliced his arm
General Appearance: Landom has an over all casual appearance. He has short hair with a mostly stubble beard and mustache. His ears stick out from his head fairly far out, but he's usually able to ignore it, but people like to joke he should have had sonic hearing with the size of his ears. His nose is wide, but not overly wide. His eyes are brown, and are full of life, because of his smile that susually never leaves his face.
During baseball season, you'll often see him sporting a baseball jersey for whatever team he's supporting at the time. It's always changing, so sometimes a game is made out of what team he'll support that week. He usually sports said jersey's with jeans. And if he isn't wearing a jersey, he's wearing a baseball cap, and no, it doesn't always have a baseball team on it but it often does. He also wears t shirts, yes, and usually wears tennis shoes. Now that's not to say he doesn't wear suits, because he does, but it's only whenever he has to.
Personality: Landom is an overall nice guy, but he has a bit of a wise assery to him. He tends to let his mouth take over for him, rather than thinking before he speaks. As he's gotten older, he's gotten better about it, but it's far from controlled. His powers he can control, as long as he isn't distracted, in which case he has broken windows, knocked lamps over, etc. He has a good heart to him, and genuinely wants to help people, so the fact that his power is pretty much useless, at least in his eyes, really annoys him. He feels like he could do more good if he had a stronger power, but instead he's stuck with these limits on his powers. The only saving grace to him is that his twin brother doesn't have a power therein by making him more powerful than his brother.
Your Vices
Likes:
- Baseball
- His family
- Helping others
- Showing up his brothers
Dislikes:
- People who remind him his power sucks; he already knows it and doesn't need to be reminded of it
- Being bored
- Baseball off season
- People who don't think baseball has a point, or is boring
- People who give him crap about his power, which is diffrent than being reminded about his power sucking. These are people who ask why's even teaching when he's useless
Strengths:
- What little he is able to lift and throw with his telekinesis he can throw fast, he once had someone clock him throwing a baseball at 100 mph
- He can talk to kids like he's one of the kids, rather than a boring grown up
- He can knock over the drinks of people who annoy him
Weaknesses:
- Authority. Maybe it's because he still has some of his kid inside of him, but he doesn't deal with authority well
- Stupid People. He doesn't deal well with people he considers to be stupid, and if he thinks your stupid, he'll probably tell you
- Pencils. When he was first at Hammel he nearly poked his eye out with one, half due to his own stupidity and half due to his powers. He uses pens and much prefers it if people don't use pencils around him
- Fantasy Baseball. During baseball season everyone can tell if his fantasy baseball team is doing poorly because he's in a grouchy mood until he starts doing well again
Fears:
- Heights. For whatever reason, Landom is perfectly find keeping his feet on solid ground. He doesn't climb ladders or any of that.
- Dogs. When he was 2 his aunts dog nearly attacked him and to this day he's not the most comfortable around dogs, especially rottweiler's, which is what his aunt had
- Bees. He's highly allergic to bees.
Secret: Despite his best efforts, Landom cannot cook. At all. Toast is a game of Russian roulette for him, on whether he'll set the toaster on fire. He and his microwave have become best friends over the years.

History
Landom grew up in what any normal American would consider a normal household. He had a mom, a dad and a twin brother, who might be older by two minutes, but that's far from the point of this. He and his brother grew up in a little town on the California coast called San Diego. Yep, that was his home for the first 14 years of his life. His father was a season ticket holder. He could tell that his son Landom was a baseball fan, and so when he was 10 he started taking his son with him to all the home games for the Padres. Landom took in all the sights and sounds of the game, and it soon became his favorite place to be. One night, when he was 13, he and his father were at the game like they always were when a fly ball started flying towards where they were sitting. Landom raised his hands up and started wishing against all hope and before he knew it the ball landed right in his tiny hands. His eyes were as big as his face as he clutched the ball. He had no clue how it had come to him, but he wasn't going to complain. He didn't know this at the time but this was the very first exhibition of his powers. His brother didn't know what it was, but he was jealous of his brothers good fortune.
The second time his powers showed up was when he still 13, only a few weeks after the baseball incident and was in the living room with his family, and he was watching TV, when he got up to walk away when, as he was walking past his mother's priceless vase and it simply knocked over, and it left him with a two inch scar on his left arm after it healed up. This incident got him grounded for two weeks. Within a week though, the men from Hammel came to his house to explain to his parents about his power and how he would have to come to the school. His brother was furious with him for being a meta human, but over the years, they've gotten somewhat over that, except when Landom opens his mouth and brags about his powers.
When Landom had graduated from the school at age 19 he wasn't really sure what he was going to do with the rest of his life, so he went to community college for a few months before he realized he hated school. So he did odd jobs around the town before he was finally offered a position as a trainer at Hammel, which he gladdy took, and that happened when he was 21.
Roleplay Example
Lacee sighed, as she wandred the building. She had just barely managed to talk her way out of a ticket, or worse. She'd been picked up because she'd left a scene of vandalism , they suspected she did it, she said she didn't- no need for the cops to know that she did in fact commit said vandalism. It was a small detail, what did it matter? She wasn't sure exactly where she had manged to get herself. The cops had told her to leave, they didn't tell her which way to go. She also had a feeling in her gut that something was wrong. Mac had left her in Vegas three months ago, and he still wasn't here. She didn't want to think about her one true love being hurt, but in their line of work, anything was possible. She pushed that thought very, very far out of her mind.
She had managed to wander her way into a room with two people she didn't know. They were both female. They both had brown hair. Great. She would have to make sure she didn't mix them up. She didn't know who they were, and they could very well arrest her, for well, who knows what? She didn't know what their jobs were, and she didn't want to tick off the wrong people. That would be bad for her. She needed to be free, for when, not if, Mac came back for her. She really hoped that would be soon. "I, uh...." She didn't know what else to say. Except maybe hi. She should probably say so. "Hey," she said with a small smile. Friendliness was a key factor in remaining a free woman.
