Javajavajavajavajavajava...
...and in an instant Jamie went from sitting cross-legged on the floor by his bed in his dorm room to sitting cross-legged on one of the stone planters in front of the mall's resident Starbucks.
...javajavajava.
"Java!", the teen then enthusiastically exclaimed. If this were any other mall than the one residing in Pilot Ridge, the people passing by, the others in the area sitting down at tables eating their food, would've all been in a panic to see a strange boy seemingly appear out of thin air shouting "Java!" Chances were good that another meta-human was around anyways, there we're too many people that they didn't notice, and if trouble hit, maybe one who could wipe memories, y'know, "Men in Black" style.
Since he had arrived at his desired destination, Jamie uncrossed his legs and jumped up from the planter to be in a standing position.
It was the afternoon on a summer weekend. Weekends in general usually meant all-nighters in front of the boob tube. Xbox controller in hand. Doing what he'd tell you was "pwning noobs". Games in the collection included Halo, Call of Duty, Borderlands. Usually Call of Duty. And if it wasn't in front of the TV, it was in front of his computer screen. That usually involved playing World of Warcraft.
Unless he had homework. But today he had none. At least, none due by Monday, last he remembered. Right now, it was time to chill in the mall with some coffee. Lots of coffee. And maybe hit up EB Games.
With money in the back pocket of his jeans and his order in mind, Jamie walked up to stand in the line that had formed in front of the counter.
((Left an opening. Jamie will order in his next post but feel free to come into the scene now. Character can be in line, or coming from somewhere else. Doesn't matter. ))
