There was something remarkable about the still and quiet air that filled the empty training room, then again, Jayson wasn’t exactly a fan of big crowds of people, especially when they were paying attention him specifically, so it made sense that such a stillness would be appealing for him. His black boots echoed softly against the wooden floor, his hands dipped into the pockets of his brown, leather jacket. His eyes, silver and piercing, gazed around the room for a moment, as if inspecting it. The lighting was warm and evident, yet not overly baring, perfect for Jayson. Taking a moment to look at his feet, a faint smirk hit his face for a moment as he gazed at his shadow, his eyes lingering on the dark outline, before he finally turned his gaze back to the room, deciding to find a good place to sit and relax, after all, it didn’t look like anyone was going to be here for some time.
Then again, not a lot of people came up to Jayson, he’d gotten a bit of a reputation for being a lone wolf, somewhat of a mystery some people would say, rarely talking much and when he did decide to speak, it wasn’t usually with a happy grin and a bounce in his step like some of the people running around this place, honestly, they looked like they belonged in a straight to DVD Disney movie. Jayson wasn’t sure if he would even call himself mysterious, he just kept people away usually, he didn’t tell people to go away or suffer a painful death, he wasn’t a complete asshole, but when it came down to it, most people in this place, hell most people anywhere, had a short attention span and if you didn’t give them your full attention off the bat, they wondered off to find someone else to bother. It was just the nature of things. Sad, but undoubtedly true.
His eyes finally fixed on a particular spot, a large window, it’s shutters closed and a large window ledge just beginning to be used. Making his way over, he pressed his back against the small wall supporting the ledge and slid back slightly, his feet slouched over the window ledge and one arm pushed behind his head. A perfect spot, he would have to remember this, away from the classes, that he should be in right now, and the people who seemed only interested in the most trivial things, like the latest gossip, which boy was into which girl, it was all so annoyingly childish and Jayson was beyond those kind of immature topics. He’d grown up fast as a kid and it showed especially when he was next to people like that.
Deciding it be best not to pay anymore mind to those kind of people, he shut his eyes for a moment, sliding one leg up slightly, getting more comfortable, his strong leg tensing under the black material as he stretched for a moment, his silver eyes slowly staring to close, he was so very close to finally getting some peace and quiet...
