RC really didn’t like to swim much. He figured there was enough water (or liquidy...stuff) in his composition that he didn’t need much more exposure to it. But he hated to exercise any other way. Too much sweat. Gross: Yes, but true. RC was a bit embarrassed about that particular side effect, but there was nothing he could really do. At least he didn’t smell any more or any worse than the average person.
That being said…RC swam almost every day. Despite his dislike for the water, he had to keep in shape somehow! And if Hammel was going to have a pool, well by god RC was going to use it. Panting, he hung off one of the edges of the pool, feet dangling beneath him in the water as he caught his breath from his laps. He flung his head from left to right, sending drops out water over the pool and dappling its relatively smooth surface with ripples. Yeah…he was done.
Taking a deep breath, he heaved himself out of the pool, his drenched black swim trunks clinging to his thighs before his shook his legs awkwardly to get rid of the excess water. He probably looked a bit like a stork clambering about, but there wasn’t anyone else around the pool that he could see, so he didn’t really care. It was too cold for the pool for most people, being that autumn had arrived. In fact, the cold quickly set into RC, who shivered visibly and made a bee line for his towel.
“Yikes.” He grunted, quickly toweling off the excess pool water and wrapping the towel securely around his shoulders. He plopped down onto a pool chair and ducked his head between his knees, pulling the towel up to dry his dripping hair. RC was fairly oblivious to the world as he vigorously ruffled the red towel across his head, flinging water in different directions as he did so.
