Set twenty years into the future. Mia is a CIA operative and Robbie is a linguistics professor at the local university in Pilot Ridge.

BIC:
It had been a little over a decade since he had even set his eyes on Hammel. The blond weather manipulator had graduated pretty early and got a scholarship to his first school choice which had been something even his parents were visibly proud of. Things with them had been a little better especially since he hadn't done anything to hurt any of them, which included his siblings. They were now close as ever and his mom was even teasing him about when he was getting married.
The boy had grown into a man.
It was a rapid change and it steadily rose until he finally got to the position he had dreamed of since he started his degree in Linguistics. He was now mostly known around campus as Professor Wilkes and to a very select few, James. Of course, Robbie was still in use but that was only to the people of his past, namely Estelle - whom he now has stopped calling Florie, much to her joy. The two best friends had been living together for a good part of the last decade.
And there he was, standing across the gate that led to the Institute that was his home for five years. A smile flickered across his face as he turned away from his old haven to walk to the nearest cafe, ordering a tall cup of coffee - "Black, two sugars and no cream,". After paying for it, he adjusted the strap to his sling briefcase and made his way to an empty seat.
The contrast between the thirty-six year old Linguistics professor and the boy that had avoided places like this like a plague was so vast. For one, he wasn't chattering away about some random event to a complete stranger. For another, he wasn't approaching the young woman who had been eyeing him ever since he walked into the establishment. He was calm and peaceful.
He maintained that posture as he sipped from his coffee cup until his eyes flew to the door at the tiny chime near the door signaling a new arrival. She had porcelain skin, long dark hair she had tied up in a low ponytail with her hair parted to the left, sweeping behind her ear. The pant suit was clean cut and fit her superbly. There was no denying that the woman was attractive. If anyone knew this was the Mia Keystone of Hammel twenty years ago, they would never believe she was actually standing in that cafe at that very moment in plain view for Robbie to see.
Setting his briefcase on the chair beside him and making sure at least his wallet was with him, he got off his chair and sauntered over to her. Placing a hand gently on her shoulder, Robbie squeezed it to get her attention. "Mia?"
