"Yes, but have you ever held one? They kick with them back legs, and it hurts. And they poop on you too," Eric replied with a tilt of his chin. Bunnies were evil things indeed, they just got good reputations because they are cute and extremely fluffy. Eric's on to them~! "And most things would hurt flies. They are nasty and are annoying when they fly around your head. I commend you for your war against flies, and ask to join you on your quest." Eric = nerd. Big time. He smiled sheepishly when she patted his leg and told him she was glad to meet him. He looked bashfully down at his lap and picked at his nail, because he honestly didn't know what to say back to that. Thanks just didn't seem to cut it.
He realized she didn't know the entire story to his Tonka Truck rescue mission, he kinda smacked himself mentally because of that. She couldn't read his mind so she didn't know the whole story. "Well me and my big brother were just chilling in our old treehouse, playing with all our toys that were still up there that were, like completely covered in dust. My sister's dollhouse had a family of squirrels living in it. Anyway, when we saw that Justin's--my brothers--and my favorite Tonka Truck was precariously perked on a branch, I was volunteered to get it. I fell, and a bigger tree branch moved to catch me like Treebeard or something like that," Lord of the Rings reference, Eric = nerd, "and it collapsed the treehouse with my brother inside of it. His arm broke in like a million places and he had to spend a lot of time in the hospital which was all my fault. If the branch hadn't moved to catch my fall, then my brother never woulda gotten hurt." Eric shrugged his shoulders as he recounted what happened. He was entirely at fault there, what kind of idiot climbs out on a thin branch that's twenty or so feet from the ground? Eric.
