"Now that I have your attention"
Sauntering on into the Student Lounge, a place that Jin rarely ever frequented, as he was more of an outsider, and definitely not the friendliest person to most people, he eyed his surroundings. People were in their own little groups, talking and laughing amongst themselves. They didn't really seem to notice that he'd walked in, and why should they? Its not like he was screaming, "Hey! Look at me!" Plus, people should know by now that he wasn't the total social butterfly. In fact, JJ pretty much stuck to himself, ignoring most of the other students at Hammel Institute. But for this certain case, for the reason that brought him to the lounge in the first place, JJ would need their cooperation, and only asked for it just this once.
He had noticed that other people around the school were looking for some sort of 'martial arts' class. Now he was no karate kid by any means, and he was aware that there was a self defense kids, but it would be a joke for him to join that class, since his only power was a form of self defense. He could put out little to no effort to form a force field around himself while others tried to fend him off. He might as well pick up a book or write a paper while at it. So no self defense class for him. As for the others, there must be a reason why they didn't want to just to join that club. Were there too many people in there? Did they not like the prof or trainer who instructed it? Who knows what it was, but he knew for a fact that they wanted it, and no one had spoken up about it yet. You see, that was a thing about JJ. If there was something that needed to be said, he would wait patiently for someone to do so, but then if they didn't speak up, he would do so, but not blatantly.
And that's exactly what this flyer in his hand was for. Just one, manilla-colored flyer. It was a sign up sheet, for any student that wanted to join a martial arts club. Sure, he still had to find an instructor for the class, but if push came to shove, he'd do the Yamaha lesson plan with them and teach them himself. But for now, JJ would just tack the paper on up on top of the other flyers, and come back in a week or so to see if anyone had signed up. From there, they would figure it out. First there had to be the interest, and then expansion could happen.
