Sighing, Cilla pulled along her bags filled of clothing and other stuff through the building. She felt tired from the trip to Hammel and the only thing she longed for was a warm bed and some sleep. Unfortunately for her there was an awful lot of unpacking in foresight before she could even think about those things. Sadly she thought of the friends she left behind and her mother back in England, but forced herself to think about the positive things yet to come. Maybe Hammel would be able to help her out with that stupid gift of hers and maybe her time here would even be better. Who knew.
After walking down the hallway she found the door she was looking foor: 404. With the key she received when she arrived Cilla opened the locked door. She hesitated a second, but then walked in. She found the empty room that would be hers from now on and entered it. Cilla looked around and suddenly felt completely lonely. Probaly just she nerves, Cilla thought, forcing herself to smile. She let go of the suitcases and sat down on the unmade bed. Again she looked around the empty room, imagining what it would look like in a few weeks. Her previous dorm was covered with postcards, posters and a lot of other stuff. Cilla removed the postcards from the wall when packing her bags and took them with her to Hammel. Most of them were from her mother but some cards came from her old friends. Of course they soon forgot about Cilla, and honestly Cilla had forgotten about them as well. Those people were nothing more than memories, very happy memories, and she only contacted them through postcards during the holidays. She hoped to receive some postcards this Christmas from her friends in Switzerland. She’d definitely send some to them.
Although Cilla was very curious about her room mates, she didn’t feel like barging in the rooms to meet them. There was nobody in the living room when she entered which was why Cilla decided to find her room first and start unpack. She breathed in slowly before she stood up again, reluctant to unpack. "Oh hell." she mumbled before zipping open one of her suitcases. This was not an easy task as the suitcase was stuffed completely. Cursing she pulled the zipper with great force. Suddenly the zipper decided to work with her, making Cilla fall to the ground cursing. ”You stupid little piece of junk!” Her attitude normally was happy and positive, but she was tired and really couldn't handle this right now. Most of the content of the suitcase was now spread over the floor of her room. How charming.
