DEAD STAR SHINE LIGHT UP THE SKY
KRYSTALCLARKE
I'M ALL OUT OF BREATH MY WALLS ARE CLOSING IN

[/font]The sun was almost intersecting the horizon, causing the sky to be a wide variety of colors. One cloud was purple, another red, another purple and red, while the sky as a whole was a burnished gold. And that was just a handful of moments - after a short time, the colors would be different and the scene would be completely unique once more. Birds were roosting for the night, cooing softly to one another, flapping wings and ruffling feathers, trying to get comfortable in their nests up in the trees. There wasn't much of a breeze down in the world below, but up above the air was moving, since the clouds were floating along, slowly but surely. Soft chatter from humans could be heard, whether they were lounging to watch the sunset or walking along couldn't be determined though.
One of those walking along was a young woman. She was wearing a white t-shirt, spatter painted with neon blue, green, pink, orange, and yellow - all of which was glow in the dark - with a pair of blue jean capris, a small satchel hanging by her side, and white sneakers, which were making soft thuds on the ground as she walked. Her hand was up shadowing her eyes, since she was walking directly towards the setting sun. It was a nice night, quite cool, just how she liked it. Not muggy, not overly warm; it was as if you were sitting at home in your room. Well, for normal people anyway. Krystal's home was much colder than the average persons', seeing how her body temperature was much lower than most other people. Her home was the only place that it was actually perfect to her. Don't get her wrong, it was nice out here, but for one who could only go out when it wasn't too terribly hot, one didn't have a lot of choices.
The girl stopped then and glanced around, looking about her in the cool air. She didn’t have to get back to her dorm for awhile, since it was a weekend, and she didn’t have much planned for when she arrived there. Her hand went to the bag that was at waist level, peering about her once more for a potential subject. She was what one would call an artist – she didn’t think of her drawings as much, but it was an entertaining way to pass the time – and now was as good a time as any to draw. Her eyes lighted on one of the aforementioned bird nests, where a mother was curled up next to her chicks. Krystal found a spot on the path and sat, before she pulled out her pencil and sketchbook and began to draw the scene before her, completely oblivious to the fact that she was sitting in the middle of the path.
