Cloudy, an adjective that could be used to describe the sky's current condition and the condition of Derick's head. It was Derick's second day at The Hammel Institute, and he was spending it outside in the courtyard, laying in the grass. Derick was wearing his usual red hooded jacket, but wasn't wearing a shirt under it, it was a little warm out and he was wearing black jean shorts. The young psychic was trying to focus on... anything, but he just couldn't. His head was hurting and it was cloudy, so he was just stared up at the equally cloudy sky hoping the pain would cease.
Derick sighed, he did not like that his headaches were causing him to miss out on on things he would normally be doing. If it wasn't for this headache, Derick knew he'd be all over the campus checking out everything he could and meeting as many new people as he could, but because of the terrible pains in his head, he didn't feel like moving. He was amazed that he was able to make it outside. before dropping to the ground.
Just as Derrick's migraine headache was reaching it's peak and Derick thought that he couldn't take the pain any longer his eyes looked glazed and started to glow. Once that happened, the pain disappeared and Derick could see clearly. He could see himself sitting, in the exact same spot where he was just laying. He was turning his head looking for someone. Then he saw who he was looking for, a boy, about Derick's age, was approaching him. Then Derick could see the cloudy sky again.
Derick had just experienced another premonition, and it gave him a glimpse of the near future. Derick sat up and looked around just as he had done in his vision. He knew to look for someone approaching because it was all there in his vision. He saw the boy just like he knew he would and watched as he approached. The wind began to blow and the sky started to get a little less cloudy.
