Essence needed to get away from the school. Just for a couple of hours. Sadly enough, she didn't feel like going into town, but instead found her feet making their way towards the pond. It was starting to get colder, nothing too big yet, but cold. Pulling her light sweater closer to her body, her flip flopped feet continued on their journey past the courtyard and towards to the pond. It was one of the places on campus that the teen liked to go to hang out. It was one of the quieter places where she could be see at. But, she was always the type to keep to herself and never say much to people. Rarely did she ever talk to people, normally she could be seen talking to trees and other plant life. Nothing ever too big, but people did tend to stare.
Getting closer to her favorite area, her eyes fell to the crisp looking water as some of the koi fish pressed their mouths to the top of the water to grab some of the little insects that landed on top of the water. Essence had always been a fan of nature, even before her powers manifested. Everything just seemed to be so beautiful, if only others could open up their eyes and take a good look at what was right in front of their face. Coming closer to the pond, Essence made a B line for a tree that was close to the water, sitting down under it. As her eyes closed slowly, she listened to the sounds around her, her hands falling to the ground beside her to run her fingers through the grass. It was soft and cool, slightly moist.
It didn't bother her though, the dark skirt she wore would be fine. It wasn't as if grass stains couldn't be washed out anyways. It wasn't like it mattered much to begin with, the skirt was dark, almost black. Essence also had no plans to scooting her ass along the ground like a dog. Opening her eyes, she looked out across the pond and noticed other people there, but completely ignored them. It wasn't as if anyone was going to talk to her anyway. Most just stayed their distance. Why? She had no clue, quiet honestly. In some ways it did bother her, but in some it didn't. She had no drama to worry about, just like she had no worry about hurting someone's feeling in any way. Closing her eyes again, she laid her head back against the tree trunk and enjoyed the feel of the suns rays as they hit her across her face.
