Even though, it's been a couple years since her parents died and she came to Hammel, Ruth still has a hard time getting close to people. She wants friends, but really doesn't know what to do with herself and tends to push people away without meaning to. She's been getting better about this, but it might take a little while for her to open up.
Lovers...
Well, Ruth's still working out her sexuality. If anybody wanted a relationship with her, she probably wouldn't say no, but she'd feel a lot of confusion.
Enemies...
Ruth can have a hard time hiding her feelings and is really disinclined to like wealthy people (they remind her of her past). Other than that, she's pretty ok with most people.
